Shame, the Scotland national team needs all the quality it can get.

He stuck two fingers up to Celtic despite everything we did for him and he acted/acts like a spoiled brat.

I don't like him and I'm glad his career is going down the toilet, you call call that bitter if you like but I make no apologies for it. * him.

Christ, he was a * kid at the time! A kid who was undoubtedly getting bad advice from the adults who were supposed to be advising him.

If that's how you react to a kid who makes a bad decision then I'd hate to be there if your kid decides to drop out of school or something!

I can just imagine it! "what's that, wee man? You're on the dole with no money? Well * you! You dropped out of school ten years ago, didn't you? * *! Deserve to live in the gutter!"

'Everything we did for him'? As I've said before, we are a football club and a business we aren't a charity. We make moves that will benefit us or moves we think may benefit us in the future - this was the case. We wanted to exploit his talents for our own gain.

All this tosh about us saving him and getting him a visa is nonsense, we were last in a long line of folk to come in. His school, friends, family and the local MP were all campaigning/helping to get a visa for him and his family sorted. Obviously Celtic helped but I wouldn't say we were the only ones and the sole reason he was allowed to stay.

It's a free market anyway, his ability to make money is through his skill, he chose to go to someone paying more, with more prestige - we do it ourselves, just not on that scale. We still made money - just not what we hoped.

Folk pure raging with him, why not Hooper, VVD and Wanyama who were dying to get out the door too, to go to bigger leagues and earn more money?

This wee guy came from a poverty stricken nation, probably experienced things you and I can only imagine in our nightmares and will have family members who rely financially on him. Plus African background footballers are always fair game for manipulative agents, whispering in their ear with bad advice.

It's a whole lot more complicated than people think.

Well Celtic, Tommy in particular, along with others worked hard to keep him in the country. I suppose it adds another layer to his treachery.

To be honest though he was 15 at the time. I doubt he was given a choice in the matter. Very few kids are.

What will likely have happened is that some money men and agents will have gotten into the ear of his parents, which will have dictated what happened.
