On Sunday, he looked like the only player who really wanted it, he was gutted at the end.

I thought he was our best player too, he ran with the ball well and tried to take players on and create. Thought other than him only Wanyama and Mulgrew played well. The rest were below their usual standard. Samaras and Ki done well when they came on too.

if i was to match Brown up with any player in the SPL as been as good as, it would be with Rankin of Dundee united, he dose a lot of running about, just as my avator can describe his play, and that of BROWNS and now and again the BOTH of them will hit a ball more in hope, rather than intention. he offers nothing, what"s so ever to our team he never helped us in the last 2 games played, that been ABERDEEN, or KILMARNOCK SIMPLE he just has not got it, he has been playing some sort of football none that i can reconize for 20 years and the passing has not improved one bit, since he got his first pair of football boots. JOHN Collins seen us coming and sold us a dud.and almost 2 when thompson was on the go.

Brow really impressed me , I always wanted him dropped from the right midfield side because he was sometimes really pish there, but in the middle of the park when he does his work he really impresses me.

Yep. Broony was our best player on Sunday, there's no doubt about that in my mind.

Best outfield player on Sunday. One of few he seemed to want it badly.

Both Brown and Mulgrew were the only outfield players i would give pass marks.

I thought they were both poorer than usual actually, I mean I know everyone one was but I wouldn't give anyone other than Forster and maybe Wanyama pass marks.

Broony had way too many misplaced and aimless passes in the final, seemed to be reverting to his old ways as he had tidied up that annoying part of his game a lot recently.

I know the shimmy and cross for Stokes's chance was great, and he came very close with that rasping drive, but for me he like all our players in the final didn't do enough, and considering he's our captain he gets more stick about that than the others from me, as he should be the one pulling everyone up when down and driving the team forward, as he has done so well this season such as vs diet huns away.

I thought both players were the only ones who showed the right kind of drive and attitude in what was for the most part a substandard team performance.

I lost count of the number of times we were exposed at the back, certain Kilmarnock players appeared to have acres of space, our midfield at times was non existent and Stokes and particularly Hooper were just not at the races.

I actually felt sorry for Forster at times, such was the inept display by most of our back line.

I'd start him this weekend. I'm not a fan of his at all, but since returning from injury he's been leading the way

I know how you feel mate, it's always a gamble with Broony in the big games, but he was our best player at the weekend and has been playing well since his return, so I'd give him the chance

    I agree with this

Nobody was particularly impressive. Mulgrew and Rogne were good and Ki did more in the first 5 minutes after he came off the bench than Brown, Ledley and Wanyama had did between them in the full game.

I actually kind of agree with Butch :eek1::fear::fear::fear::fear: not about Brown though.

But I see his point about the lack of creativity. Forrest and Samaras and even Commons are all more direct players than creative players, they look to score goals and probably have all scored more goals than they've created. Our other midfielders are all centre-mids.

Our top two assisters(for 2 seasons in a row now) are Hooper and Stokes, our two strikers. They should get more service from midfield than they currently get.

We are a weird team whos midfield score a lot of goals and the strikers are the creative players.

A Big Jan type of striker may change things though, considering at the moment our widemen dont have a target in the box and Hooper and Stokes both prefer to drop deep.

It'd help if we played Ki more often in the league. He's a very creative player and his passing skills are hard to ignore. So far, 7 goals and 5 assists from him, this season?

Anyway, hope Brown has a good game on Sunday. Result may hinge on how involved he is for us.
