Agree with this, it's so obvious that Rogic is a very talented player. It's weird how people have now all of a sudden dismissed him without any thought.

Rogic has been picked for the next Aus squad, and with a new coach there's a real chance he may get some decent game time.

One possibility - gets * all SPL game time, gets some world cup minutes and does well and makes himself quite valuable on the market.

If he hasn't got game time the last few weeks with Commons being out i don't think he's going to get a look in the rest of season.Shame, had high hopes for him, looks like he's got plenty talent but just isn't fitting in the team.

He should have a chat with Lennon if things haven't improved for him by the end of the season. If Lennon can't guarantee him more time in future he should move on for his own good.

From new Aus coach, could have a big impact on what Rogic chooses to do:

"Compelling form will get you into the team, but if you're not playing at all then I don't see any logic in bringing you in."

That includes Tom Rogic, a wondrous talent who has made little impact at Celtic since his move there.

"At his age, playing is a really important part of his development, and for us going into a World Cup, even someone as talented as him will be hard to select if he hasn't played at all,"Postecoglou said.

"If it means we have to be actively involved, we will - it's in the national interest. We can't ignore these situations, he's a unique talent. If it's not working out for him where he is, let's see if we can assist in any way."

I could see him getting a few games sometime soon. He's due a start or a substitutes appearance. With Biton out for 2 games, Broony for 3, maybe he needs to come back into the fold, because there are a few months until the January window re-opens.

give him a chance in 1st team or loan him out. all too often we let good youngsters stagnate and rot in the reserves

In the case of Rogic, the need to get more involved is even more pressing because his place in Australia's World Cup squad is on the line unless he can feature more for the club he joined from Central Coast Mariners in January.

In the initial first few months, the rangy midfielder was allowed time to come to terms with moving halfway round the world.

But, having broken through to the Aussie national team in the summer as they qualified for Brazil 2014, the 20-year-old hoped to make his push at the start of this season, only for injury to sideline him at a crucial time.

Rogic has been playing catch-up ever since.

And, with Australia now having a new boss in Ange Postecoglou - who has named Rogic in his squad for this week's friendly against Costa Rica - the youngster has obvious concerns about what is potentially the biggest season if his life ending in a major anti-climax.

Postecoglou is planning to speak to Rogic about his situation when the two meet up Down Under for this game.

The coach said: "The biggest problem with Tom is that he's not playing.

"If he's still not playing in January, and his back half of the season is like his first half, then he's going to find it very hard to make the squad.

"He needs to be playing club football to be part of the World Cup squad."

But Lennon has some words of reassurance for the Ausie starlet and his concerned coach, insisting: "I am looking to give Tom plenty more game time between now and the end of the season."

"Then, when he goes away with Australia, he will be ready to go."

He has height, Pace, creativity and the ability to pick a pass.

He might have quick feet, he might have a quick brain but one thing he most certainly does not have is pace. :56:

I'm going to guess it's because Lenny sees him every day in training and doesn't think he is up to it yet.

    Just a hunch right enough.

This lad hasn't even been here a year. He looked decent when he came on against Ross County. He said it was difficult to settle when he first arrived which is understandable. I have a gut feeling Rogic will make it at Celtic. He might not go on to be a Celtic great but I think he will do a job for us.
