Butch realises he has no basis to slag Broons performance so he makes up some random guff just satisfy his daily needs.

    Well played Butch..

I never thought he had a good game tbh, he was solid and decent at the "Barry Squarebaw" role but never done anything above that today. Good to see him take the penalty and score though, showed bottle with all the ones we've missed. I would say it was a standard 6/10 game.

Only players id say were above 6 out of 10s were Hooper and Forster would give them 8s.

Samaras syndrome. Above average performances are transformed into immense performance because we're that used to utter *. He was our best midfielder on the park but it wouldn't have been hard.

Played well. Goes to show though, he's perfect for games against the likes of Falkirk and Peterhead.

My man of the match today. Very composed on the ball, good passing, great penalty, and his shot on goal was a cracker too.

He had a good game certainly and stuck the pen away nicely. His pass to Commons was his best moment though.

I know. I didn't think he had a bad game, but where people are getting this MOTM chat from is utterly beyond me.

Stokes MOTM fair enough. Rogne, yep likewise. Fraser Forster again, even. Brown - eh... no.

I think there are some folk that just really like what they perceive him to be as a person, and so everything he does good becomes magnified, and everything he does bad is ignored. And if you apply that mindset to a guy that flies around totally at random, doing good and bad in equal measure (like Brown) you will end up concluding he had a good game. That's the only logic I can see in it.
