Thought he was fantastic considering it was his first game in an entirely new country, league and team. Also, he cannot be fully match fit either. 1 assist and unucky not to have gotten a goal for himself. Always looks to keep the ball, take on a few players and make the pass. Exactly what we need coming from the midfield. Looks promising.

I know. That is the punishment for all those who don't pronounce Slavic names correctly.

Looked good. He has the physique for british football as well as really good technical ability.

How much did we pay again?

I thought he played well today but I think he went missing in the second half for a while

He looked very good, comfortable with either foot. He tired in the second half but will do well when he gets fit. I'm sure we will see a lot more of him in the coming months.

I think he needs to go looking for the ball and be a bit more demanding of it, but that will come with confidence. Everyone in Aus who were watching this game were wondering why he played so deep? I don't think he's ever played their in his life! Also the tackle by him was pretty Funny .

Think we have another star in the making here.

Hard place to play and never a pretty game but he played fantastic today.

    Very pleased. May it continue.

Quite informative :smiley-laughing002:. Always wondered what the difference in the L and the L with a stroke in it in Polish was, think you pretty much summed up everything.

And I think you speak better English than a majority of people in the UK :56:

I think we have something really special here, could be the bargain of the year by a country mile, his composure, touch, awareness and skill were there for all to see. and I've no doubt he will score at least 10 goals between now and the end of the season.

Looks like a proper number 10 and exactly what we've been after.

Can't wait to see more of him, played fantastic yesterday and seems to have adapted to the style of play here easier than most.

    Every day's a school day...:drag:

So let's see if I understand this...

The bit about "ic" being originally a diminutive seems clear enough.
You say the ov/ev/in/ski name endings are originally different endings of the genitive case and therefore Petrov = Petar's (implication being Petar's son), right?

I know he's not the same sort of player, but it just seems as though in Rogić, Celtic are already preparing for life after Wanyama in the MF area.

    I'm fine with that.

Very pleasing debut and will undoubtedly get better as he grows in confidence. Great assist for the equaliser.

Once he gets a bit tougher, goes in for tackles then he'll be quality. Potentially another gem
