Guy looks to be exactly what we have been in need of, a creative midfielder who can make something out of nothing. Have high hopes for him, scored tonight in an u20s game aswell apparantly, hope he's a star in the Hoops!

Anyway, he's a mad cheesy bastart but I was watching the build up to the real Madrid vs barca game n he was so exided when the other FEMALE host brought up something about a real Madrid players wife coming out on Twitter confirming that there is problems with the players n coach n mad Ian was like "you know what, she has no place coming out with this, this, if that was my wife she'd get a smack across the head! That woman has no place here .. this is the ell classico!!" If u know who he is and understand how cheesey he sounds you'll know way I'm tooting aboot. TOM Rogic only took nine minutes to register his first Celtic goal during the Under-20s victory over Hamilton on Monday night. The Australian internationalist coolly slotted home from Patrik Twardzik´s cut-back to help the young Hoops to a 3-1 victory at New Douglas Park.

He also had further chances to add to his tally before being withdrawn 10 minutes from full time. It was an impressive start to life at Celtic for the 20-year-old who was only paraded to the media three days earlier.

Celtic supporters have always appreciated those proficient in the creative arts and this is evidently a role Rogic relishes, either operating as an attacking midfielder or as a second striker – the position he played in against Hamilton.

And while the new Bhoy recognises that he will face fierce competition for places in this area of the pitch, he isn´t fazed by the challenge.

"I probably enjoy playing as an attacking midfielder or just one off the striker, and that´s probably my best position, where I can give most to the team," he told the Celtic View.

"I like getting forward, hopefully creating opportunities and scoring the odd goal as well. I'm just looking forward to getting on the pitch and doing what I do.

"There is a great squad here who are doing well at the minute," he added. "I'm just here to work hard, progress and develop, and hopefully I can be involved in games as soon as possible. We will need to see how that happens but we will go on from there."

As with all new recruits to Paradise, the club´s illustrious history and huge fanbase were all major attractions for Rogic.

And after playing in a sparse stadium in blizzard conditions on Monday night, he´s eagerly anticipating making his bow in front of a big crowd in Paradise.

"The club itself is just massive and there have been some great players who have played here over time, so it's great to be part of something that's special," he said. "It´s a great opportunity and one I didn’t want to pass up.

"I experienced the crowd when I came and watched the game here the other week and the fans are amazing.

"Celtic is a global brand, they have supporters all over the world and the atmosphere at Celtic Park is something special and I´m looking forward to being part of that and hopefully playing in front of it.

"A club as big as Celtic which has that history and success is definitely something that attracts players. That was part of the motivation being here and I´m looking forward to it."

Watched the match here in Aus. Rogic is blowing out of his rear end, hasn't played 90 in a long time. He is playing a fair bit deeper than what we are used to down here, usually in that true no.10 role.
Excellent assist for the first goal and showed signs of his class throughout. Needs to build his fitness but I am delighted with his debut.
Keen to see what everyone thinks.
Great result with a young team also!
