Players like Ledley often dont do a lot, play within themselves etc, hit one or two bad passes etc but they dont get this stuff about being a donkey just for doing much the same as Broony. There is no doubt that every (and there are actually few) non-completed passes that Broony does get a way out of proportion focus and seem to be tatooed on peoples memories and draw big growns but when others do the same there is no comment on it, its not remembered at all. I just dont think he gets a fair crack of the whip.

It's probably down to the fact he misplaces simple 5 yard passes at times, its frustrating. Today he played the way he is meant to. I doubt very much if he played that way every week too many people would complain. If he is so disliked then why 'the broony' ?

I thought Broony was best player in the 1st half, him or Hooper. He was worse in the second although ironically that was where his goal and assist came!

I just wish Scott would stop giving away the ball in stupid positions, he never seems to do it under pressure where I could forgive him he does it for no reason in the middle of the park :31:

Great goal though, he has got a well good strike on him, like to see him get forward and use it more. Too much sideways and backwards passing today (from everyone)

Ledley is overrated imo, but, i think hes a good player, just not one of the first names on the team sheet like many say, but, i think you overrate brown like others overrate ledley.

but, ledley chips in more goals than brown, he a better passer(he is!) and hes more versatile, he also has a intensity, closing down fast like brown does, maybe not to the same level, but he still does, i think ledley is also alot more consistant hence why he doesnt get as much stick

brown has some stinkers, he really does and its a bit * that someone like stokes has to make way for him today, BUT that said.....he has his good games....and was very good today

Do you think folk have an agenda against him ? If folk were that bitter they still wouldn't do it.

    Honestly? Yes I do.

I am baffled at some of the abuse that he takes.

Am not a Brown hater, but before the goal I thought he was poor his bread and butter is to break up the opposition midfield and he simply didn't do that and won very few balls in midfield, so many times did St Mirren's players got themselves and the ball by him. He took his goal very well and its the result that matters but I have seen him play much better.

Probably Brown is one of the players in our team who sees most of the ball so obviously he will make a few more mistakes. He never hides and contrary to some can actually pass the ball. For me he's a definite starter if fit.

Cheeky little assist for Forrest and then a beauty of a goal to seal the points. Can't fault him today, even though I've been critical in the past.

Credit where it's due though. Well done Broonaldo :50:

Great goal but his awareness for Forrest's goal was even better. Brown's better at shooting with his Left boot for some strange reason.

So glad he signed the new deal and I would hate to lose him. Get him back in the middle of the park where he belongs. Wanyama is perfect to play beside. Much better than the likes of Donati or others he's played in there with.

He had a great first half always going forward. Second half it was all negative until Commons came on. Superb goal. Should try from there more often.

I have a feeling we may see the best from Brown soon, There is absolutely no doubt he has been playing through pain/injury for quite some time, looks more comfortable now, maybe benefiting from the fact there are others that can thunder into tackles. The whole captain thing has been * since we've had a high turnover of players, someone has to do it and to be fair he is the best candidate atm.

    Basically onwards and upwards.
