broony links up much better with Cha than with Matthews.

Our winning run has coincided with Broony coming back in part. I think when Forest plays we center very much on him as our one creative outlet and we lose a lot defensively (though he has improved that side of his game).

Just a pitty both him and cha aren't as good as Forrest and Matthews.

No chance, Big Mick was a fantastic skipper.

Really? I thought big Mick was an excellent captain.

Not a great defender though - that was the problem for me.

Nah I'd agree, Mick was an even worse footballer than Brown. At least Brown has a couple of things like a burst of pace and a decent turn on him.

Big Mick, as much of a big hero as he was, was absolutely woeful at the technical aspects of the game.

Lacking in the technical side is a little more forgiving for someone attempting to be a no nonsense defender though, there's no way Mick was a worse captain than Brown is.

I think people are a bit harsh on Brown. Alright his passing isn't great, he's not that fast or skillfull, his tackling is a bit hit or miss, shooting average enough but apart from that he's ok.

technically woeful is right, but I miss those CL games when he'd be chucking his head at everything fired at our net. Call me a * but I * love me some last ditch defending against bigger boys!

How many captains in Celtic history were virtually everpresent during a run of winning the title 3 times in a row and CL last 16s twice. He cant have been half as bad as we make out. Certainly the most successful Celtic captain over a 3 year period since Billy McNeill. He wasnt great but he was part of an unit that was very good at winning stuff and doing well in Europe and he did play some blinders for us.

If we were playing Rangers tomorrow, I'd rather have a fit Scott Brown in my team more than any other. He's a big game player for me. Stood out at Ibrox this season and brought us into the match before getting injured.

Forrest has become a huge player over-night if you like but I'd sooner go for the tried and trusted at Grey Skull.

Ledley's another I'd trust at the big occasion to be fair. We need internationals in the big games. Kayal's a miss for this reason also. There's no telling Wanyama won't freeze at such a fixture being so young.

Same with Brown, he doesn't even have the Celtic daft part going for him.

Broony's a far superior footballer to Stephen McManus.

Time for some other group of supporters to shout: "Let's all do the Broony!"

Never really warmed to him either.

Don't like him at all. Not going to say I hate him since he's a hoop and it wouldn't feel right, but I get * * off every time I hear his name in the first team line-up.

I will admit hes not the greatest midfielder we've ever had but some of the * on here is a * disgrace. If you dont fancy him as a player fair enough, although Strachan, and Lennon seemed to like him in their teams and they have been in the business awhile and I would imagine they know the difference between a decent player and someone who is "*"
