Well no-one can deny that dung is brown.

So by the commutative law of logical equivalence, your result follows. :icon_mrgreen:

I really love Brown for his bravery and fighting for the shirt, but i would play Forrest ahead off him every day off the week. He is a brave brave man, but a horrible footballer

Scott Brown was AWFUL today. I was sitting in the stand and had more of an impact than Brown. Ian Black would have been a better oprion for us if Lennon wants that type of player in his team. Scott Brown contributes very little to our team. What does he actually do that is productive? For the money he is on it is NOT VALUE. If Lenny plays him out wide right for the sake of it then we're a man down. Kept cutting actoss the park today instead of being more direct. He's not one of my favourite players. The last time we won the league it was no coincidence we palyed better when he was injured and Robson came in to teh team.

I thought he was mediocre today rather than awful, although there were a couple of clangers.

It did get on my wick though, the way the guy on Channel 67 was licking the * out him. It was embarrassing - like he was under orders to big him up.

Right at the end he was totally creaming himself over how Brown had taken the ball to the corner flag.
And then, worrying perhaps that not everyone had heard this, he said it over again.

Looking on the bright side, mibbe we're planning to punt him. :56:

again we play with ten men, for a 5 million pound player playing among kids,
runing about like a dafty, having no ability at all, and at times Ki" s play was putting us down to 9 men on the park, our left and right back are hitting the ball long to the strikers, something a midfield player should be doing, are we the mighty big Glasgow Celtic, that stuggle and we do look like its a struggle
playing any team in the spl. there are a load of fans on here think we are bigger than we are, and for some reason, cant see Brown being the weakest link in our play, closley followed by KI. watching ki playing i think Brown has the guys heed in a whirl, as when ki is on the ball Brown looks for a pass back from the guy, leaving Ki at times not making forward movements. again watching Brown, doing his Peter Pointer impersonation, telling the guys to put the ball forward, then when it comes his way, what dose he do. yep back passes it.
is he the best midfielder in the SPL at £5 million , lol. well ask your self that.
are 60% of our fans right he should be off loaded.

Brown is the captain, so should get a game for that if nothing else. I'm a big fan of the bite he normally adds in terms of the physical presence in the middle of the park. Today tho he lacked drive and desire, his passing and crossing were really slack, and tbh represented more of a FB than a RW. Forrest would have been a better pick if fit. Would have broony in the centre with Ledley possibly, works better tactically IMO but at least we got the job done. I just wish his play going forward was better and more consistent. But on his day, he's a handful for any team.

    Thought he was decent today.

People need to remember that him and Forrest are completely different types of players.

I would always play Forrest ahead of him on the right though.

There were worse players out there today, Matthews being one of them who did nothing to help Brown out at all. He would have had a goal if Stokes hadn't gotten in his way, too.

There's no doubt that Brown is a limited player in a technical sense; his touch and passing can really let him down at times, and that's why he's never really been outstanding in the middle of the park.

But what Brown does give you is hard work and limitless commitment. Having a player who is going to press high up the park for the full 90 minutes, putting the opposition under constant pressure and winning the ball in good areas, is a very good thing and, as a Captain, he leads by example in that sense.
