Like him or not, Browns drive and energy is essential to our team. When he is not playing, we can look one paced and edgy.

His passing is suspect, no doubt, but I have no problem with him in the side as we are winning and doing pretty well.

He had a good game the day, I think he needs to take on players more as hes good at running with the ball and twisting and turning. He is too Barry Squarebaw like most of the time, passing the ball 10 yards a lot but today he done more running.

I'd say he was quietly efficient today. Got on with his job without doing anything flashy.

Pressed and passed pretty well, and contributed to a routine win.

He made some excellent passes today in first half. People notice the bad ones more however.

That's what he's paid 30 grand a week to do, of course the poor ones are going to be noticed more they are too frequent for a central midfielder whose passing should be of the highest standard in your side.

Brown was Captain Marvel today. His drive, mobility and will to win are astonishing and he must have covered every blade of grass on that pitch today. It would be very interesting to know how many miles he runs during a game because I suspect it must be phenomenal.MOTM for me and we always seem to win when Brown is in that line up.

In our last seven games before Brown went out injured, our record was:

    Won 2
    Drawn 1
    Lost 4

And one of the two victories was a match in which Brown didn't feature. In other words, out of those seven matches, we had only one victory which featured Brown.

Maybe we always seem to win to you because you just ignore all the ones that we don't win?

Broony is like the inverse Samaras.

Sammy plays great for two months, then has one mediocre game, and there's folk coming out the woodwork telling you how frustrating and inconsistent he is.

Captain Clown has one decent game, and there's folk telling you we can't win without him.

if you want to use stats just look back to last season where we won most matches with brown in the side and our worst run came when brown was out. also you just need to ask the players about brown they all say he is a fantastic captain and a huge loss when he isn't in the team. but you can just ignore those stats to if you want

Those aren't stats. They're your opinions. The only person who's provided stats here is me. :50:

All I was doing was proving that the claim "We always seem to win when Brown is in the team" is false. I think I've done that kinda conclusively.

This season it was very noticeable that our winning run only started once Brown was out a couple of months injured.

Classy. Nice show of respect for the captain of our club. Regardless of what you think.

Brown has been captain for the most part in the run where we have overhauled a huge gap. You may not like him, as with Sammy, he splits opinion, but he is in the side, and Lennon rates him enough to be skipper. The players seem happy with him as well.

Disappointing that some people cant be happy that we are winning, scoring goals and playing well. And top of the league.

I dont mind brown the only thing annoys me is whenever he plays others who are better than him either get dropped or moved out of position.

Superb against "them" and put in another good shift again today. Say what you like about Broony, he's one of our easier targets when things are going wrong, however, his drive and energy is essential to our team.

Not very good english mate, is it?

Brown has played in the last 8 matches, during which we have lost once, to Atletico Madrid, and drawn once, to Udinese. Coincides with 6 straight SPL wins, including a top of the table clash.

Those are the current stats, and the ones that really matter. Kinda disproves your bullshit argument a bit. :50:

Got to say I was quite reserved about seeing Broony in the middle of the park today, I'm not much of a fan of him in the middle and would much rather see him play on the right, but he was great today. Comes well into contention for MOTM.

I think a lot of people feel that if he plays, he is better on the right. But he did fine in the middle of the park. What chance has he got though when we win comfortably, he plays well enough and folk still find it in them to come on and slaughter him.
