Celtic announce 3 year sponsorship deal with Magners.

I don't class this as a multi million pound deal,only £200k a year more than the last one.least it's something if these amounts are true.

Think people are taking this way out of context....what we have done is just severed the main tie that binds us to sevco,lawell knows many many fans dont want anything to do with them anymore,we dont wont to be associated with them anymore,and dont really miss the so called Old Firm games anymore......so in the world we live in today,it wasnt just getting the extra little bit of money,it was to sever the tie,we dont want to play in the same strip with tennants anymore,hence we are kinda assocoiated,so we will now play in Magners.....the same company,however the company that now OWNS tennants......so we kinda own they * as well in the deal

 

Everyone is running round with there knickers in a twist about breaking from the huns.....should we not wait till the huns get a new sponsor just incase......

 

It's an improved deal money-wise from the Tennents deal. Great news seen as Sevco won't have the same sponsor as us (hopefully) and we're getting more money.

 

Have the zombies even confirmed a new sponsor yet?

Regardless, we negotiated a separate deal and will have a different brand on our shirt. So it isnt joint sponsorship.

People wont see Tennants on their shirts and Magners on ours and make a link like they used to, when we had to same brand sponsoring us.

Part of me actually wanted us to have joint sponsorship this season just so pistol pete could laugh in the face of whyte etc. when they get offered about 2mil or less over 3 years
