    Looks to me as if the support is divided into three camps.

    On the left the Broonies
    On the right non Broonies
    In the middle the Broonie Atheists

    Say what you like about Brown he may not be the most talented Captain or midfielder we have ever had but he does know what it means to play for the jersey, and just now we need players that will do just that.

    Talk of him signing for someone else in January-just where has that come from? Has he ever said he wants away?

    He hasn't, but the longer his contract talks go on the more you begin to think that he might be thinking about moving.

    It's only three months until he can sign a pre-contract with another club, so he's in a pretty good position. He can wait until January and see what clubs might be interested in him.

    There would surely be clubs out there willing to sign him up on a pre-contract, the problem with that is if Scott Brown signs a pre-contract with another club then Celtic fans will not want him anywhere near the team while he sees his contract with us out.

    I'd like him to sign a new deal.
    I wouldn't be too bothered if he didn't though, as long as we get the opportunity to sell rather than him running his contract out.
    Seems to be a lot of love for Kayal as captain, has he managed to lead the club to a win with the armband yet? Has to be Brown or M.Wilson for me, though their injury records aren't great.

    Nope, that's why I used speculative terms/words such as "looks like" and "probably".

    It was only an opinion, not a statement of fact.

    Hope am wrong btw, would want Scott Brown to sign up, although I don't think he's worth the reported wages he is currently on.

    I'll never rate the guy but if we allow him to run down his contract we have let a Scottish internationalist and Celtic captain walk away for nothing.

    I reckon we could dupe some poor club down south into shelling out what we did on him.
