Actually at times i find the guy embarrassing, he really needs to drop the hard man routine and concentrate more on his game.

Inter's thugs would have shat all over us today if it wasn't for Brown, he got our guys fired up and stood his ground well

I would have him in the team any day,if we arent doing well he digs in and tries to change things and isnt afraid to put himself about to unsettle the opposition.I think I may be alone here but Ledley just doesn't do it for me, he's too one footed and is slow when we are on the attack

Sometime he is embarrassing with hux constant squaring up to people but usually its funny but not in a friendly when people like eto and sneijder were calming him down they must think he's a right plonker

I agree Prof, he could have been sent off in the first 5 minutes. Seems at times too intent on being the hard guy on the park.

On the other hand, I thought he played well last season at RM. Just wish he would concentrate on playing rather than getting involved.

results count mate, puting yer toe in is one thing, i prefer to wind up any
players, when i have helped put the ball in the pokie. and for all on here that back Brown, for me he does nothing, constructive. and is a basic penny tray player, that John collins, got his own back on us :52:

Brown would only bring balance on the right if we bought someone else who was * and played them on the left. :50:

I am hoping Ki takes Ledleys place. Ledley only plays because he covers for Izz who is talented at attacking but he badly overcommits. Ledley really doesnt bring much to the team IMO.

On recent form, Ki takes it for me too.
My midfield would be Brown - Ki - Kayal - Commons

Having Ledley as cover is a pretty nice option too!

Our Captain and why he ruins the team

I've been reading tonight and seen Commons has been slated, Ledley also. Scott Brown was the worst player on that pitch tonight by a country * mile, i understand what he brings to the team, leadership passion that's is all well and good when your side lacks it, but the majority of our team are leaders or atleast extremely determined to succeed ( e.g. stokes paddy both celtic fans) therefore we don't need Scott Brown!!!!! The ammount of times he actually passed the ball into a completley empty space, to another oppenent or out of play was actually worrying. By Lennon starting Brown tonight he has upset the balance of the side, Kris Commons when on my form is our most potent, dangerous attacking player, by Lennon playing Brown Commons is forced to the right hand side where quite frankly he is out of position and not half the threat he is from the left, this means James Forrest is left out, who at the moment is our best attacker from the right hand side. Ledley is forced onto the left where yes he does a job but is much stronger and better than brown in the middle and gives Ki ALOT more reliability and would probably create more holes and space for him

    rant over

Wasn't great tonight at all, not the worst player on the pitch though.

Should never be played in the middle. Right midfield is his best position.

Why Ledley was moved to accomodate him in the middle is anyones guess.

He has played all his best football for Celtic at right mid, it is his position.
