never hear of him say, he cant play for Scotland with all his injury's and all these problems, we all have our own cross to carry. and just when i point out his lack of ability, some on here play his joker card for him

I don't see why its a joker card he has went through a lot of stuff which I wouldn't wish on any one as for playing through injury why take the risk of the boy losing his career or would you rather that happened

Not at all - he's found his position. To me, Kayal, Ledley and Ki are ahead of Brown for the CM spot. He provides a good bit of balance on the right flank.

I think he is really under-rated by the Celtic fans. Today we would have been up * creek without him. He was one of the players driving us forward and making energetic runs forward. He was also dropping deep looking for the bal and getting stuck in to tackles. All the things I have just listed are all the attributes you look for in your captain. I like him on the right as well cause it means that if we are winning we have another driving force that we can use to go forward and if we are losing we have a player that can help us battle our way up the park.

sorry mate, driving force i just cant see it, most of the play came from wing backs, i think ruining around is good for his vascular muscles, but he ain't doing much with his feet for me. its your opinion as like mine.

When Commons is playing Brown is most effective.

Commons pushes behind the forwards and we almost play with the three CM's with Brown tucking in.

Example would be when we got beat by Rangers 3-1 last season when Lennon started with Ki and Ledley in the middle with Samaras, Maloney, Hooper and Stokes attacking - we got caught out numerous times.

What? He's played consistently better out on the right than he ever has in the middle of the park.

he's constantly coming inside to receive the ball, if your going to play 442, you need width

We don't play a proper 4-4-2 though. I'd say we more play a lop sided 4-3-1-2 with Izzy pushing up on the left and Commons drifting in to the no.10 position behind the strikers, leaving Ledley - Kayal - Brown sitting more centrally. Obviously it's hardly as rigid as all that but that's how I see it a lot of the time.

rangers don't play anywhere near Brown or the midfield when they attack a defender takes it out, and sends a long ball into the 25yd area when our midfield are still up the park. it was millar or jelvic that picked it up, and slotted a ball into the path of a striker. game ended they get about 8-10 chances like this when the play us and it is easier if our defense try and play a high line up the park, so forget about brown being back to defend
as that you will never see.

We were basically playing 4-2-4 at times in that game. Brown brings balance when played on the right, that's easy to see :50:

you can play ledley-kayal-ki-brown in the same midfield imo. all good players but all centre mids. pick the two that combine the best, and stick with it

    brown and kayal for me

i mean you can play all four, but the midfields narrow, no real pace on the wings. You need a commons or forrest for breakaways and width imo

He did play well today, but once again showed that annoying immaturity by acting out. He could have been on the end of a red card himself. He's supposed to be our captain. I prefer him to anyone else at right mid in our squad at the minute. Adds a bit of strength.

But, Broony, calm the * down son.
