I doubt it. I can't remember the last time McCourt actually scored a goal, or even remotely influenced the outcome of a game anymore :smiley-laughing002:

I can only think he is playing this tadger for to try and sell him in January :smiley-laughing002:

It is shocking that McCourt is preferred over McGeouch, when McGeouch is a match winner, and just the creative speedy midfielder we are so obviously lacking just now.

I see what you're saying, but I think the idea that McGeouch is a match winner yet is based more on hope than experience.

i sometimes question if we can go on a big run in this league, always seem to have an off day or some other excuse. At end off day the best teams around go on huge runs

Not heard his post match interview, but if he thinks it was a cracking game he needs to take those shamrock shades off. Either that or he's got one brass neck. We were absolutely * rotten today. None of the players seemed to give a fiddler's fart and were all hiding from the ball. I'd make an exception of Broony as he was buzzing about the park as per winning possession back.

Sammy was * awful, continually running into defenders and throwing himself to the deck at any opportunity that arose.

Pish game, £28 I'll never see again. :31::38:

It's too much to ask if this team can go on a run. it's like things getting back on track...and then bang were off the rails again. no CONSISTENCY whatsoever.

In the 20 mins he was on the field he was more effective than most who started.

Even the McCourt haters must have had their heads turned by his performance today.

I thought he made an impact when he came on.

    Certainly very creative.

Except this team, last season, went on the most consistant winning run since 1913.

    Funny that eh?

Doesnt apply to this season though, in which we have been very inconsistant domestically.

It does apply to this team though, which he was talking about.

This game shows that we need to rotate the team more, give subs a chance and and starters a rest after they just played 3 days ago at dundee.

There's nothing wrong with constructive criticism but stating that Efe Ambrose and Kelvin Wilson, two players who have been central to us qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League, aren't good enough to play for Celtic is, in my opinion, just nonsense.

the thing that gets me is this isn't the first time a team has done this to us this season

we just keep passing the ball slowly from side to side when did this work for any team ?

it's the equivalent of a hammer attack approach!!! for example "if we keep hammering at the wall it will fall down"

i wonder if there's not enough football intelligence in the team!!!

samaras trying to do it all himself to me is a symptom of the team not creating chances and he takes it upon himself to try and do it all himself

you find when samaras has a great game it's usually when we have other good attacking and creative outlets and he isn't being concentrated on entirely by the opposing team

    Well that was horrible.

A mere blip though it happens, the performance was more worrying than the result though.

Only Wanyama, Ambrose and Sammy wanted it. Not saying the three of them played good but at least they had a bit of urgency about them.

How many * sideways passes can we play before somebody gets the * finger out?

Paddy played more forward passes in 20 minutes than the whole team played in the preceding 70.

We just play it across the park all day, nothing in front and everyone with their back to goal, so frustrating.

We have no one with the nous to pick out a forward and no one willing to take on a defender.

Hopefully we spend money in January because we need it.

This team is set up to be successful in Europe but by * it's painful to watch in the SPL at times.

Once again a ridiculous police presence in the Celtic end today, there seems to be a disproportionate amount of focus on us right now.
