Interesting you bring up his English team Arthur Boruc #1. Caught the back page of that * rag in WHSmith today. You'd think they would have learned with lines like 'The Inside story' & subheadings 'The truth of what went on'.

For someone who wasn;t even there, he seems to know all the facts.

 

Suggesting people get sacked because they lost the plot abit is wrong.

I am sure John has lost the head before and done something daft.................oh wait,yes he did lose the head and as a result Berkovic almost lost his.

 

He is saying the fans that caused the trouble should be named and shamed. Don't understand what is wrong with that.

Don't see what the big deal is, he is saying it out of anger at those *.

Although it is OTT, employers can sack employees who commit crimes.

Firstly given his history, John Hartson is is no position to moralise to anyone.

Just ignore the Hartson article, Hartson never wrote this, every Sun/DR article will be written by the same person - with it designed to stir up trouble and sell papers.

What probably happened is they phoned Hartson, 'told' him what happened and asked for his thoughts on it. Then spinned it into the garbage we see.

Folk pished and in the wrong on Boxing Day must not have jobs now.

No one cares what they were singing, they care about the fact that some fans were fighting and destroying the stadium, i.e. acting like Huns.
Some posters have a see no evil approach when it comes to our support, while I won't listen to the daily mail or record alone when a story is as widely reported as this it means there is some fact to it and instead of making excuses for these actions we should condemn them.

 

Quite a breathtaking article by Hartson. Maybe he could come out and say what the scenes were that genuinely shocked him. And the irony of him calling anyone a yob I'm sure isn't lost on many.

What do people that have jobs look like?

Listen, John Hartson gets to write for the scum media like the Sun (so much for him being a Liverpool fan) because of his years as a footballer - you trying to emulate him by writing absurd nonsense like the above isn't going to see you being offered similar emplyment.

The issue is surely the scumbags who have caused trouble, not the views of anyone writing in a tabloid rag. I live my life quite happily without reading the inarticulate drivel written in the Sun and the Record - I have no idea why people buy or discuss these papers. By when our fans are causing trouble of course they should be condemned and it should be celtic and fellow celtic fans leading the condemnation.

We dont have too much scope for complaint about police or tabloids giving our fans grief when we (in the collective sense) misbehave.

why still no photos of the "destruction " or the running battles on the concourse . seems strange .

 

it's basically to do with the shear number of away supporters we take compared to anybody else. That many people, mostly * from christmas, in such a close proximity to each other is always running the risk. The most disappointing aspect for me is whenever I go for a * is seeing teenagers doing drugs in the cubicles and I'm not talking about smoking weed.

 

John Hartson lecturing anybody on their behaviour is a bit rich. Of course he didn't actually write the thing but he put his name to it and in a rag like the Sun. You'd think he'd have known better.

And what "scenes" is he talking about? I've yet of to see any pictures or footage of this so called "riot".

Just how bad was it at Dens Park on Boxing Day: were the Celtic support engaging in Orc-like behaviour, and is this because they were drinking all day with a 7.45 KO, or for some other reason? 'Throwback to the 70's' and all this '* in the stands' *... * is going on here?
