Usually love that sort of stuff but it sticks in the craw when Juve cheated their way through the last leg and their fans then swamped this forum to rub our faces in it.

Nice that you've found some decent Juve fans though.

Hey guys, I just wanted to say well played over both legs, you've done well to get this far and there's no shame in going out to a very strong Juve side (even if some people here seem to be strangely underestimating it).

You've got some good players, it would be good if you could keep hold of them and develop more as a team. I know it's not my place to comment on Celtic's formation choices, but I have to say that I found it a strange choice to play Wanyama at centre back. He seems slightly wasted there. Also, I'm not sure why Kayal didn't play instead of Brown or Mulgrew in the first leg, he seems to be a stronger player than both.

Then again, I've only ever watched them twice, so I might be talking complete rubbish! :smiley-laughing002:

The score line was harsh but we deserved it overall. I think you'll be happy at some point in this campaign because I definitely think juve will take a big scalp, winning is harder but I think we definitely will beat Dortmund, bayern or real.

Were not at our best over 2 legs and you could probably say the same about yourselves. This team can take on the top teams.

Overall I think it was definitely not an easy tie( I knew it wouldn't be), and we came out on on top. As always in football things could have been different.

I can't be the only one that noticed that instead of Juve being punished for pulling in the box (there was much less tbf) they got freekicks given to them for it...?

There was loads of times were we crossed the ball in and a player jumped up for the ball and got a free kick given against them for nothing. Think it was Kayal who jumped infront of the guy and knocked the ball down and then they got a free kick even though Kayal didn't touch their player.

Sorry, I just realised after I posted how terribly I had worded. I should of said that they're not as good as they're thought to be. But they are rock solid and clinical in front of goal

Gave alot of effort and passed the ball about well but ultimately juves quality has shown through in the end, they are difficult to break down for other 'top' teams nevermind us and were extremely ruthless infront of goal . Anyway we accomplished our goal to qualify for the last 16 and created some great memories along the way. Been a good run just lets hope were back in the mix next season.

Very Bleak press conference from Lennon, wasnt expecting that. Sounds like he knows a couple of key players are off in the summer.

No, you make a lot of fair points.

Not sure how far you will go but you have a chance to win it. If you get maybe Gala or Schalke next round, maybe even Porto or Malage, then I think you would progress. Even Milan as well if they go through. If I were you guys I would want to avoid BvB, Real Madrid or Bayern.

Despite the controvesy of the first leg, I wish you well and hope you enjoy your teams efforts.:celt_2:

:50: none thus far anyway :icon_mrgreen:
The bolded sentence doesn't really deserve a response but as far as your reference to trolling and baiting goes, I can't speak for all Juve fans, but I know that for the most part our fanbase is not interested in poking fun or provoking other fans on football forums.

On another note, if this had have been the first leg, i would have fancied our chances at Celtic Park to get at least 2 goals.

No sorry needed mate,we're here to debate:50:I think they are as good as they are thought to be
because of the areas I alluded too..In hindsight I think we were gullible over both legs,we were too keen to get at them and got suckered in..Juve will be the toughest team to beat and the key to beating them will be staying as patient as they are..

Very good point. The win over Barca possibly made us too confident going into this tie. Their tactics in both legs were spot-on. As for the remains of the CL, I think Bayern will be the toughest team to beat. But defensively, Juve, if anything, aren't too far behind Bayern :50:
