Football is a funny, funny game.
Despite all the hype, arrogance and stereotyping from the Italians beforehand, it was Juve who actually played like a typical British team - scoring from long hopeful kicks up the park, being physical instead of elegant, barging and grabbing instead of passing and moving.
Whilst Celtic were as dominant, composed, technical and ultimately as frustrating as Barcelona in defeat.

The Italians did nothing to dispel the stereotypes we had of them: play-acting, cheating, diving, time-wasting and generally being *. I of course was not surprised by this, but I was especially disappointed by Pirlo, who showed none of his class or expertise but merely behaved like a little child. His lash out against Brown was particularly pathetic.

I think we have won more plaudits and fans than Juve have on our travels this season, and we should be proud of that at least.

Why are you using a video of a clear penalty to attempt to call Celtic fans hyprocrites?

    I'm confused?

That Samaras dive, together with the Brown tumble makes all "Italian divers" arguments null and void. All players dive, unsurprisingly, including Juve and Celtic players.

Samaras never dived. There is clear contact between him and the defender in the Spartak game.

Clear contact with player in the box and ball not won = penalty.

Juve are cheating *. Cheated in 2001 and cheated in 2013. The sooner their fans accept their club for what it is and move on, the better.

what? is that a clear penalty? oh. now we understand all this complaining. british football is physic only in words. for you every contact is penalty. samaras is a DIVER because he could keep playing the ball. he clearly look for the contact. and you call italians cheaters? We thought scottish used to play football but you play fencing instead. I you really think that is penalty please leave football and leave it to men.

I am not going to comment on your stereotypes, please use them the way you like.

But are we really comparing your game with Barca when the catalans had over 80% possession, with yesterday's game where Juve had 51% (uefa's official stats)?

You can say Celtic fought with much more passion and everything, but sorry, can you name a few actions where this technical supremacy was displayed?

Aye, because real men bribe officials to help them win titles :smiley-laughing002:

    * off you *. It's probably only a matter of time before Calciopoli II comes to the fore.

well you should get informed about calciopoli to judge. but I realize all this nervous is because you thought you were unbeatable at Celtic Park, and you got 3 goals.THREE.

there is a clear contact because he unnaturally moves his leg looking for a contact.
