Brown went down incredibly easily, hoping to get Lichsteiner in trouble. If the roles were reversed and Licht went down like that everybody here would be up in arms about it.

 

I'm still in disbelief that Juventus walked away 3-0 winners. Even putting the cheating * of a ref aside, we were easily the better team. We can count ourselves desperately unlucky.

 

Giovinco will play the next game. I watched a game recently where he dived three times and get this, the referee only booked him once. Shocker eh

The video u posted did remind me of it but brown clearly just lost his balance as he quickly got back to his feet it's not like he done what that count did and fell and held his face!!!

Also may I add why couldn't you beat an Inverness team like we did with 10 changes in the team with 3 guys who have hardly ever played a first team match ....

This says it all. In Italy this never happens, and if your striker did first of all you would not rate very high his mental sanity, then you would see defenders in the opponent team doing exactly what Lichsteiner did, and no-one from either team would complain.

Refs would advantage the defending team as it's considered a foul to hamper the movements of a goalkeeper during the execution of the corner.

As for the game, Juve played their worst game in this season by miles, the final scoreline in my opinion was simply due to Celtic defending badly and not being dangerous when attacking. It is really as simple as that. It is not like Buffon had to make amazing saves or Celtic hit the woodwork 9 times.

As an important note, I was at Celtic Park last night, and really appreciated when some Celtic fans at the end of the game came and congratulated us. That is what true sportsmanship really is all about. Everyone in the away fans sector was really moved by that, a very long applause and chants for Celtic followed. I mean it is really easy to be a true sportsman when you win, but it is in the defeat that you see the real men. Thanks Bhoys for teaching us a very fine lesson.

 

just let them keep talking. they are being silly and ridiculous. the question is: have celtic lost the game because the Ref? the answer is DEFINITELY no. juventus scored 3 clean goals. they had 2 chances to score, but they count every single * shot on target, that buffon could control with his feet.
they are maybe complaining because they are used to receive penalty for every single * touch in the SPL. NO referee would have given penalties yesterday, no in the champions league. look at samaras. who are are the cheaters? this is disgusting. just talks and badge. TALKS AND BADGE. i appreciated Celtic's match. they put on pitch willingness and passion. they did not deserve that result. but when I realized they justify their defeat because the referee and italian behavior, which was just defending the goalkeeper, I got surprised. really. but it's their business. they talk about pride and glory, and then complain in a really silly way. We will wait for you to our stadium. we ll see if you are the same away. HISTORICALLY you are NOT.
