    I'm not picky.
The only real simulation (if it can be called that to be honest) was the slap in the back of the head from the defender on Commons in the first half. It wasn't much but I think it was just a reaction from Commons. Wasn't a penalty but it wasn't simulation either.

To be honest I am surprised there wasn't more diving from Juventus because as we all know the Italian teams are world renowned for it. There were a few moments of them time wasting and acting (aspecially when Lichtsteiner went down AFTER he threw Brown to the deck) but not as much as what I thought there would be.

You're right - I think we actually passed them off the park for the majority of the match. Even when a couple of players (Commons and Wanyama to name a couple) found themselves surrounded by Juventus players they still managed to keep the ball and pass it off safely.

It's just a sore one to take because we played SO well and to come away with nothing is a real kick in the balls.

Was bad but I've definitely seen much worse. The idiot in charge of our UEFA Cup Final for a start and a certain ref called Claude Colombo when we played Celta Vigo at Celtic Park.

For him to allow what was happening in the box to go on SO many times without more punishment is a joke.

Yet he allowed Lichtsteiner to keep doing things like this later on in the match and never received a 2nd yellow for it :47:

It's called tongue-in-cheek humour and hindsight is a wonderful thing as well because if the result is always known before hand then banners wouldn't get displayed  It's also a way to get the players up for the match.

Are we supposed to put it the other way around just because we were playing Juventus? :87:

Just read the official site and they gave Scott Brown MOM? Thought Brown personally had a shocking performance, he had a pass success rate around 50%. Him and Ambrose did not turn up on the night and Forrest was also very ineffective. Izaguirre looked back to his best and for me was MOM.

Aye you could see broony getting frustrated. I saw him trying to clip someone at one point but the ref never saw it n he never got the guy but ambrose was a shambles. Nothing to do with fatigue. He's just *. Never rated him. We need to get quality defenders if we ever stand a chance in Europe. I think we should invest in our wage bracket so we can get better quality players. I know people dissagree n love our policies but I think we need to get more experienced players. Were debt free now. We can afford it with the rest of the CL money coming at the end of the season. Those statements from PL yesterday were from this season so we're still due the CL dosh in the summer I think.

The reason we are debt free is our wage budget isn't crazy, what's the point in all the hard work to get debt free then start paying players stupid money. 1 bad result which we didn't deserve to be on the end of is no reason to change your signing policy. As for Ambrose he has been excellent all season, was excellent at the Africa cup of nations there is no way he is *.

We were unfortunate last night big Efe shouldn't have played and that has cost us but other than silly goals it was as strong a performance as I could have hoped for. Head up Lenny tactics were spot on team selection probably wasn't but let's learn from it and move on.

I hate Andrea Pirlo lost all respect after his bullshit tally antics. *!

I'm not talking crazy wages , I'm talking about changing it from 25k to around 35-40k. Nothing crazy like 60k and it doesn't mean EVERYONE is gonna be on 40k a week, it just means we have more selection in players. There's a lot of great rated players that join a big club n don't fit in/do well n the teams are willing to let them go. Well if u join a team n there's a lot of hope in you, I'm sure their gonna offer you a decent wage. Well as a player you don't want to take a pay cut. Some players will but most have a certain lifestyle, expensive house/car payments n can't afford to. My point is we can still get great players for cheap but a lot our transfer rumours ended like this "Bullshit, can't afford his wages" n these just so happen to be players that are proven in football n fans get exited about being linked to ... But nope. We have a policy that cant go over 25k. remember though, not all players are gonna be on 40k a week. And I know its about keeping it fair between the players aswell. Well a lot of our players are doing really well n havent been offered new contracts like Wanyama n hooper. N the only reason they got new deals on the table is because their wanted by clubs. I dont think it would hurt have 2-3 Europen proven players. There's already big wage differences between our players as it is so it wouldn't upset anyone in my mind. N mate ambrose gave 2 goals away tonight, he's good but sloppy a lot of times. Like big balde used to be, you love him but hate him at the same time. N BTW I've been talking about increasing the wage policy for months. We out played them tonight but you could tell their players were more confortable on the ball n more technically gifted. Again, I think we have some really good players at Celtic bit we need 2 or 3 great players in order to even start making London banners.

In summary of the game I think we played actually ok,apart from the goals we gave them. The ref didn't give us anything at all, perhaps we were naive in the way we approached the game.I wish now we sat back and it was a bore draw.

Juve played exactly how I thought they would. They just sat back and used their superior quality to pick Celtic off. I got the feeling that if they steped up the pace, they could have got more. They remained compact and solid and Celtic had nothing. As has been obvious to most, Celtic lack a player who can unlock tight defences. They were never going to beat Buffon with wild shots from 20 - 25 yards.

Yes, some Juve players are disgraceful but we all knew this is how they play, I feel they are just a better team and they had more variation than Barca. You aren't going to beat them by taking long-shots and hoofing high balls to Hooper and Commons. Celtic are in dire need of a manager with more awareness and a midfield with more than energy and aggression. For me Ambrose should not have been playing, in hindsight I would have had Mulgrew there and Ledley or Kayal in the middle. I don't think this was a case of the players not turning up, I just think it was a case of a better, more tactially-aware team coming with a game-plan and it working. Well done Juve.

we battled well obv individual errors cost us thats wot happens when dining with europes elite, forrest really dissapointed me,we need a 6ft plus targetman to get on the end of these crosses and a left winger have to address these positions in summer

We were brilliant first half then in second half when it was getting closer to full time we seemed to just give up or something. * defending cost us the goals Ambrose should not have started, Lenny took the gamble and * up. Forrest was invisible for most of the game i dont think he was fit enough to start either maybe Matthews could have started instead. Apart from they two and maybe Forster as well i thought he should have done better at the goals, everyone else put in a good shift.

We should have got at least 2 penalties probably more and that * lichenteiner should have been sent off, if that happened and we score the penalty then its 1-1 with them down to 10 men totally different game. But the ref decided to be a * so it didnt happen.

We created some good chances but to beat Buffon we need to have better finishing most of our shots went straight to him. Ambrose sitter was a bad one dont know how the * he missed that.

So aye overall proud of the performance, the ref was a *, juventus are * as well.

Very flattering result for they scumbags. Actually thought we played them off the park majority of the match. How we didn't actually score especially in 1st half is astonishing.

    I'll answer on his behalf:
I think on the balance of play a draw could have been a fair result, but Juve had the better chances and took them, so they deserved the win. For all Celtic's good play and pressure, all it resulted in was that Ambrose header and a couple of half chances.

Yes I do think that what Lichtsteiner was doing is acceptable. Hooper was clearly planning on trying to obstruct Buffon in order for his team to gain an unfair advantage on corners. Is Lichtsteiner supposed to just let him do that? All Lichtsteiner did was protect Buffon by doing what Hooper wanted to do. If he hadn't done that and a goal came from a corner where Hooper was obstructing Buffon, everyone in here would be delighted and calling it clever play.

Well done Juve for paying the ref to turn a blind eye while you cheated?

Hooper stands a yard away from the keeper. Doesn't touch him (unlike that cheating scummy filthy * was doing to him last night). Italians are cheating *. Their whole country is full of corrupt criminals. Should have expected no less from them
