Sorry sadface. We call you cheaters because you cheated,

Care to explain why you felt the need to cheat to win against us?

    Love and kisses, Celtic. :shamrock::shamrock:

Agreed. I'm not usually into sticking the boot into opposition teams, but I'll make an exception for a club with a high profile history of cheating. They even got * relegated for it.

Cheated us out of the group stage in 2001 and cheated us tonight. Lichsteiner should definitely have been sent off at 1-0.

At least, in a few days or maybe even weeks time when we look back on this we'll be able to say 'at least we did ourselves proud and played out of our skins'. Also, on a side note, Izaguirre is well and truly back. Augers well for the future, don't you think?

    I'm not picky.
Any worse than some of the Juve fans coming on here and one calling us "Scottish *"?

Saw another site give it 53%. 65% is VERY generous but no way was it that much :smiley-laughing002:

It doesn't matter anyway because we played out of our skin and we were far from bad and we were definitely nowhere near as bad as that Sky Sports comment earlier.

Now I read that someone accuse Juve of being cheaters.

You must know that there hasn't been ANY FIXED RESULT or referee.
    Nothing of nothing.
In the sentence, the championship were declared "regular", in all their parts.

If you refer to some deliberation, remember that Italy is the country of mafia, which is not alien from istitutions. Remember that the main rival of Juventus is the team of certain Berlusconi.

    Who wants understand, they can.

I disagree that Juve "cheated" their way to the win. IMO it just wasn't our night and we got punished by good finishing. The scoreline flattered Juve immensely on the balance of chances, posession and play but hey we did exactly the same to Barcelona.

That said I thought the referee was a * disgrace but I don't really blame Juve for his performance.

Hi, it's a perfectly legal tactic we've used for a couple of years, the forward only holds his ground and occupies the space the keeper wants to move into. It's perfectly legal. We feel that the way Lichtsteiner dealt with it (manhandling our player) is manifestly illegal. Simulations? the referee let your defenders away with blatant manhandling of our players every set-piece, I think Brown made the most of one push, but the fact remains that he was pushed.

The thing is that set-pieces have been our main threat in Europe and the way your team defended it has left a bad taste in a lot of mouths here. I don't mean any offence as I still respect Juve, but this is genuinely what I saw.

Not quite sure what to say after that... we played so well, looked much the better side tonight, just a shame Juve were more clinical with their 3 chances that we were with our 17-odd. Feel cheated, ref was a disgrace, as were some Juve players. That incident with Brown and Lichsteiner or whatever his name is was Dida-esque. That said, I'm so proud of the bhoys. We showed tonight that we belong on this stage. Hail Hail.

Matthews should have come on and Ambrose off. Lustig to centre half at halftime.

that's not the point, if you read my post you would know I am not talking about sport, but about human behavior. You insulting us not just as Juve fan(I have taken a habit at that, as they say ignorance is bliss), but as Italians, even talking about our crisis that affects poor people that could not care less about football... I am ashamed for you, just like I am when I see racism from Juve fans.
BTW I am from Cagliari too and trust me other italian team fan's opinions are not relevant, there is great rivalry and we never support other teams in europe...:icon_mrgreen:

Does anyone think we have a glimmer of hope in the second leg? I think we have a miniscule chance if both of these occur:

    1. Juventus count this match as done and dusted. They rest Pirlo, Marchisio, Vucinic, Buffon and co.

    2. We go 1-0 up within 15 minutes.

If that were to happen, we'd have a small glimmer.. one tiny shred of hope. Either way, I just hope we don't lose the game in Italy.
