The crazy thing is based on tonight I actually think we can beat this lot in Turin (which is a lot more than I thought before the game)...if it were only 1-0 we'd still be in this. :-(

 

Positive thinking now: Izzy finally back to his best. He was wonderful all night.
Commons brilliant and technically the best player on the park, was far better than Pirlo and looks well at home on this stage.
Big Wilson was great as well I thought.

That was probably our best European performance for a decade, infact probably since the last time we played Juve at home! And this is without anyone with the experience, reputation or magnitude of Larsson, Moravcik, Petrov, Sutton, Hartson ect. Most of our players are in their early 20s - infact our oldest player tonight was Brown and he's only 27 or 28. So I really do believe the future is bright and hopefully we learn our lesson and become more intelligent in years to come.

Joy wouldn't feel so good if it wasn't for pain, we lost tonight but we beat Barca and Spartak and have had great memories already this season. We'll win the league, hopefully the cup, and have more European adventures next year. We are back at the top and are here to stay, the bhoys are back in town.

To be honest Sean I have been fighting the good fight in here since we lost, it's safe to come in if you can handle the sad Juve trolls.

I really hope that tonight nice Celtic fans are being silent... really sorry for you guys, not for insults to Juve, since we won I can take that, as long as we pass the turn. But racist insults, like, at least I'm not Italian or Italians are cheaters in their blood... that's really ashaming for you. I had great respect for your team, after this game still have, but not for most of the fans. great disappointment...

 

Jeannie, you know well that I don't take ones on on here but three of their obsessive keyboard warriors do not equal a problem for our reputation.

i agree was joy to see how passionate izzy looked playing for us hes never played at that level before same couldnt be said for forrest when push came to shove he crumbled not impressed at all all very well performing in spl didnt do it tonight

Definitely, they were *. Clinical, but *. * me off how Pirlo was hailed a genius by the commentators everytime he made a simple five yard pass tonight aswell. Great player but was very quiet tonight.
