Completely disagree with this. Mulgrew's link-up play with Izzy down the left was great and he was unfortunate not to have set Ambrose up for what was really a sitter from Ambrose.

 

I'd say UEFA will be having a look at the way Juve were "defending" at set pieces tonight. Is it the case that if a team like Celtic develops a strength at set pieces, that the opposition to counteract that will just turn the penalty box into a scrum, in order to disrupt proceedings and a ref can't do anything about it? UEFA will have to instruct refs to deal with that sort of *, they can't allow that to continue.

Juventus were lost tonight.

Could barely pass the ball five yards and lost nearly every challenge.

We were by far the best footballing team and aside a few mistakes that was clear.

Really harsh and undeserved.

Another night where the goal wasn't conceded early and shots weren't down the throat of the keeper and it would be a different story.

 

There was never ever 3 goals between the teams.

Thought that was the most comfortable we've looked in Europe this season for large spells of the game.

Now is not the time to rant and rave about tactics, formations, players or managers. Instead we should be taking so much from this European campaign. For the players and the management team they will have earned invaluable experience. For the club, they've earned a tidy sum and, more importantly, back on the European map. And for us, the Celtic support, we've got a set of absolutely superb memories which will go with us to the grave.
