I think you'll find that a caution can be handed out when the ball is not in play - a free kick etc cannot be awarded. And you've never seen penalties awarded before the ball had been kicked, if you ever do it is the wrong decision. Just the rules fella.

 

Agreed, if the ref had given a pen instead of booking our player first time around they would have cut it out pretty sharpish. Wasn't just the fouling at corners though, it was the diving, fouling off the ball aswell. They are just a cuntish team with a lot of cuntish players

No we had them on the ropes before they scored. The rest of that half they sued the ball well and we really didn't. Simple.
