must've watched a different game to some.i thought we were excellent in the first half,just a bit unlucky with the break of the ball at times.izzy had a great game imo,second half we went off the boil a bit but still gave a decent account of ourselves. 2 of their goals were silly mistakes from a jet lagged? player who probably shouldnt have been there.we werent humped by any means

How can you possibly say we 'might' not be cut out for this level and that you 'genuinely think' it would be easier for everyone if we played in the Europa? We've more than earned our spot in Europe this season. Playing in the Europa League is worth * all to the club unless we win it. Champions league group stage earns the club big bucks which in turn will eventually see us into the last 8.

Of course it would be 'easier' to simply settle for the Europa League next season but that's not where we want or need to be. If that's the level we fall to, not only will we not have the funds to sign top class players to bring the club forward, we won't have the lure of Champions league football to make top class players remotely interested in coming here. We also will have no hope in keeping guys like Wanyama and Hooper.

 

for everybody saying that juve cheated surely its down to the ref to cut that out ,give them an inch and they take a mile italians have been like this for aslong as i have watched football. dont know why anybody is even surprised by it . the game needed a strong ref and we never got it but there is no way you can fault the effort and commitment of any player ,the one thing we lake and i have said it before is a bit of class in the final third or a cutting edge, in past games we have really used our set plays but the delivery just did not happen tonight, onward and upwards .
