Jesus Christ in what way shape or form were we 'poor' in the first half?

    In conclusion:

We were brilliant for most of the game. we eventually ran out of steam as some people would say.

    Juventus are cheating *.

    Lennons gamble had dramatically backfired.

I said we might not be fully cut out for this level... yet.

There is a difference between what I've said and what you have quoted me as saying.

I think our defence needs to be stronger in order for us to compete consistently in Europe and get to the quarter finals one day. But again, that can only come when we get more money to spend on central defenders and there is no guarantee that we will get that.

Did I specifically say against Barcelona? No, I didn't.

For instance, at home against Spartak - our penalty was dubious and the first goal was just a huge slice of luck, finished well by Hooper.

Juve's team cost ten times as much as ours people should remember that, Juve fans included.

Fans saying we were robbed is wide of the mark. We were hard done by, by the ref but Juve were clinical and because of that they deserve to win.

Interesting but Lustig played a blinder tonight.

Any interview from Lenny at the end? Been a good campaign, beaten by a wily experienced outfit tonight. Lenny and his players will hopefully learn some lessons from tonight. His gamble with Ambrose backfired big time. I was also surprised he started Forrest, leaving Ledley and/or Kayal on the bench.

Lenny made a few wrong calls tonight. He's still a young manager learning his trade, but has shown plenty so far that augurs well for him as a potentially great Celtic boss for many years to come

Vital that Celtic qualify for the CL Group stage every year now, and build on the experience they've got this season.

Lustig did play well, but I feel that Matthews would have offered more going forward, had he started from the beginning.

    Nice, constructive response, smartarse.

I've been to plenty of games this season and haven't left early once. I would have been there tonight if I had the chance. Unfortunately though, I don't have any mates who are season ticket holders.

Completely agree. Perspective is not something that is in overwhelming supply on here after a Celtic loss.

There's no debate regarding cheating by Juve. They were plain and simple.

Tonights performance by them wasn't surprising... They have always been up to their neck in corruption and foul play does seem to play hand in hand with their style of play.

Celtic performed greatly in my opinion. Ambrose was playing poor, but he did almost get the equaliser. It's a shame Hooper didn't get chances.

    Well done Celtic.
