Anyone else think Michel Platini hand picked the referee for that game. Something stinks to high heaven about all this in my opinion.

 

i said before kick off juve would sit back for 90 mins and break fast i will find my post and i was right i expected us to dominate the possesion and be hungry as * for this - but they are smart we knew this they dont go thrashing chelsea for nothing - but for me our key descisions were awfull this is my opinion obvcoarse - i love this team and love lennon but when i think someone is at fault i will openly speak my mind and for me the hunger was there the passiin but the tactics was just not there -

waited ages for this night and just feel scunnerd - scunnerd because i felt we played so well and just were let down by decisions that were not the players fault

Agree. I don't think Lennon would have played him if there were any doubts from the physios or the player himself. I know the player will say he's fine because every player wants to play every match. Lennon said in the after match interview that it was a gamble and it was poor from Ambrose for the first goal, but the rest of the defence just stood still. One of our guys was about 5 yards away from their scorer. Ambrose didn't help it initially but a few other players were caught just watching.

 

The worst part of tonight?

'Fans' leaving early when I would have sold a kidney to be at that match.

We are Celtic. We will soldier on.

It is our first season in the champions league with this squad and this manager. How many managers have got to the last 16 in the Champions League in their first season in the competition?

How many squads have progressed this far with a squad as young as ours?

Common sense on here yes the Juve players took the * in the box but they always do and they are a good team.

The team played * excellent!! Did you not see the first half? Fuckit we lost, but we * made the last 16!!! COYBIG!!!!!!!!!!!

 

1. Very little respect for Juve after this. Who told me they weren't negative?

2. Officials were woeful tonight. A penalty and a sending off at 0-1 could have changed the game.

3. Mistake playing Ambrose, but hindsight is 20/20.

4. On the point about us in the Europa League, we've done that. How can anyone say we're not ready for the CL? That has to be a knee-* reaction. The only way to improve is by playing against the best...like Juventus or Barcelona.

5. Anyone calling our players * or * should be ashamed of themselves.

 

Sorry Shane, you know I respect you and your opinions to the highest degree but that is balls.

If Juve had not been cheating filthy * that would be 1-1 or even 2-1 to us.
