Can I ask a question that would help me understand how good Celtic are - if you were to play in the English Premier League, what position would you (realistically) end?

Win lose or draw the tie won't be over until after the second leg. I'm quietly confident the Bhoys can get a win or at least a draw to take over to Italy. From there I'd like to think we can pull of a shock and go through. Only time will tell.

Juve were always going to be favourites and no matter what I'm proud of what Celtic have achieved this year.

Can see this being 0-0 or 1-0 to us.

Juve will want to keep it tight to go back to Turin and we wont want to lose an away goal.

The way we have been playing away from home in the CL this season then a 0-0 wouldn't be a terrible result.

I think your problem is to play in a league very very limiting.

Especially now that the only real opponent is finished in third division.

    Who do you compare weekly?

    With Saint Johnstone??
    With Hibernian???
    With Inverness??

Despite this, you have passed the turn in champions league, beating Barcelona (but the statistics of the game are very confusing for you)

    Ball possession 73% - 27%
    Shots 24 - 5

more than a victory, this is a miracle.

what about the statistic at the top your missing out on but and its the only 1 that counts 1 - 0

italian teams and more so the national team have done it for years get the lead and make it hard for teams to score and be hard to break down

Statistics don't tell it all mate, for example that same game? Both Alex Song and Mascherano should have been sent off.

Mascherano took Tony Watt out on his way to a 2nd goal, most blatant thing ever. Alex Song had about 5 bookable offences after wing booked.

Doesn't look like it from the stats but they were under pressure.

Barcas a different story though, they're * insane. I think our olay is best summed up with our 3-2 away victory to Spartak Moscow.

imo we would not be in the top half in the first season but after that we would compete with the best year after year

Everyone ends up with stats like that against Barca. The only difference is Barca usually win by four or five goals. We had a gameplan and executed it perfectly.

I hope your manager and team underestimate us as much as you do. :86:

Only statistic that matters - goals: Celtic 2-1 Barcelona

Wouldn't call it a miracle, would say we took our limited chances better than barca, as well as having a keeper in the form of his life and very good tactical awareness and focus by every Celtic player.

Yes we may be in a poor league, but as in every game of football, all you need is team spirit and good tactics to beat anyone

Ooft, the French? That's the only sorta football I can't watch!

Germany and La Liga's better. Premierships about the same for me.

I would say we're better than Arsenal, outside of 1 or 2 players.

Got a feeling Miku or Lassad may start if Samaras does not make it.We'll need some height up front.
