UCL Last 16: Celtic v Juventus Chat

kinda pessimistic, for the first time this CL campaign. we do well against teams we can dominate at set pieces. Juve will prpbably play Chiellini, Barzagli and Bonucci so cant see us bending them over like we did to Mascherano and Bartra.

In saying that though, Juve arent as good attack wise as Barca, so we might be able to hit them on the counter. I see a low early cross ,like Lustig's for Hooper in Moscow, as being our most likely way of scoring. Like i say i cant see Hopper beating that back 3 in the air

 

Hahaha love how Sevco supporters like that * on here always talk about 'class'. Do these * idiots actually comprehend the definition of class? Ian Black's a classy guy isn't he, never makes an * of himself or his team. Haha they are just like their deed brothers who signed the likes of Diouf and co. Unbelievable haha. Anyway, on to talking about an actual team and not a circus act, I cannot wait for this game. We have every reason to go in to it with utmost optimism as we should fear nobody, especially at Celtic Park. I have a very good feeling about this tie, the atmosphere will be out of this world!

Can the CL squad be amended for next game (meaning 2nd leg)? ie. Rogic could potentially still play in the CL?

I'm not suggesting that he should, just curious.

I agree. I think keeping a clean sheet is vital for us tomorrow.

 

Samaras if he's playing for outfield player. Clean sheet and a win will give us a massive chance!

I just want to say I cannot wait for the game tomorrow night. Being back in the knockout rounds of the Champions is something very special. The atmosphere at the game and just the general feeling when you are sitting infront of your TV screen is unexplainable. I hope our two teams will go out and give their best and just show the football world what we are capable of.

Chiellini is out I think? Either way, they'll still have 3 centre halfs playing, who are going to be decent in the air. Saying that though, I wouldn't underestimate our side's ability to outjump anyone.

Cheers mate, I have (and I'm sure a lot of others) been lookin forward to this game for so long, and now it's just around the corner. Hopefully Celtic show the world what we're made of, and hopefully progress, but we know Juventus are favourites, and I'm sure it will be a good tie.

We're keeping pretty tight lipped about that one. I personally think he'll play, he's one of our most important players in Europe so desperately hope he makes it.
