This is a statement from the Green Brigade, released about 3 weeks ago I think:

"This is obviously our first game back from the two match boycott. The boycott was primarily used as a tactic to raise awareness and I think this has been achieved to a degree. From this we will continue to build and there will be a section meeting very soon to involve everyone more.

For the Spartak game we won't be going back thinking everything is now fine, it isn't and it won't be. We will be there to back the team vocally and hopefully do all we can to contribute to an atmosphere which can give the team that little push and intimidate Spartak.

Given the current circumstances we won't be doing any tifos for the forseeable future, nor will we have any colour on show within the section.

The only colour in the section tomorrow night will be the group banner and section banner (ultras celtic).

Section should be meeting outside (around 7ish) and entering as a unit too."

 

So what gives us the advantage against these lot then that's making some people here getting carried away??

 

Because we made it this far. And we have no domestic commitments as the team you may/may not have supported has died :bbpd:

 

this is the greatest opportunity we have to progress because if I'm correct we had barcelona as our opponent in all the last 16 ties we've been in .

 

Milan in 06/07, Barca in 07/08.

 

Both went on to win it both years if im correct
