Sorry, you are the best in the world. I will start * it more for you because you think I am being complacent for some odd reason.

When did I say I didn't think you were a great team? I am as worried as I would be with most teams we could have got. No more, no less:50:

Its basically exactly how they set up too. Buffon is the Douglas :56::56::56: Barzagli is the Bobo, Bonucci the Valgaeren, Chiellini the Mjallby, Lichtsteiner the Agathe, Vidal the Lambert, Marchisio the Petrov, Asamoah the Thompson but they swapped the Lennon type for a Pirlo type and theyd love to have Sutton and Larsson instead of Vucinic and Matri.

It is not about us being a great team, I just don't like people talking about things they don't know about. I will flat out admit I know little about this celtic team, but I will learn.

Saying things like we are not as good as last season tells me instantly that you don't watch them or follow them(which is fair enough but you are passing judement as if you do). They are better than last season so you are wrong there, the stat is not misleading we have lost twice in 1.5 seasons.

The matches are there to watch if you want to actually learn about your opponent

It's absolutely vital we win at home, preferably keeping a clean sheet, we need to be going over to Turin with something to defend, otherwise it will end up like last time in the last 16 against barca where they will just give us the runabout.

It will be a very tough tie, but it could have been worse, I think Dortmund and bayern would have been tougher

All you have to do is tell me that then. Have no idea why it hurts your feelings.

I am just a supporter, Lennon is the manager who will know full well about your ability, so don't be 'worried' about us being complacent mate.

I still think we will beat you though.

Juventus are one of the top 6 teams in Europe right now, in my opinion, so I'm worried we could get turned over at the Juventus Stadium.

However I reckon we'll take a decent result over to Italy and it will end up being a tight game. It will probably end in heartbreak as it always does with Celtic in the new format Champions League :54:

Can't stand all this fighting between fans. Does my head in, especially when our fans are in the wrong.

Juventus have always been one of the major forces in European football with the exception of recent years but they are well and truley back to being a force again so lets no underestimate how much technically better than us they will be but at the same time I think our bhoys will need to go to * and back to beat them but I believe this team is willing to do that and thats why we have a fighting chance.

Fair enough, theres no hurt feelings, just opinions.

It will be a special day for both clubs and their fans regardless of the result

The way I see it is that we are asking other clubs fans to be respectful and surely the least we can do is show them the same.

Very few of us here can honestly say we know a great deal about Juventus simply because we don't watch them play week in week out. The same must be true for their fans knowledge about Celtic.

With several weeks to go yet before we even play each other it'd be crazy to assume either side is going to be pumping the other. Last 16 games tend not to be like that.

It's a knockout stage and being football anything can happen. Having a team full of the world's best or most expensive players means * all on the day if the other side score more than you, and it's that which will decide who goes through.

I like to think Celtic have a chance of reaching the next stage and until we are knocked out I'll go on thinking that no matter what round we are in or who we are playing.

well, in our domestic league we actually have more points than we had last year after the same number of games.
You can lose a game or two because of single adverse episodes (we lost 1-0 to AC Milan because of a big * up from the ref).

Also, last year we did not play in europe at all, this year we need to rest our best players at regular intervals of time.

But as I said, we have more points than we had last year at this point of the season, unbeaten in the Italian Cup end we passed the group stage in the champions league.

Overall I think we are better than last year, really.

I honestly wouldn't put myself through watching Italian football, bores me to tears.

Incidentally watched Juve a few weeks ago in the pub, their midfield looked awesome but their opponents let them literally walk from their box to their opponents. So, so lazy.

Years ago channel 4 used to show a live Italian match every sunday and tbh at times it was brutal to watch.

Juventus closing the ball down is impressive.....give their opponents no time on the ball.

    Not at all mate.

It will indeed, we are just happy to be playing such a team like yours at this stage in the competition.

They are a good side but the over the 2 legs we have every chance of qualifying. Making the quarters would be an amazing achievement.
