Happy with the draw though a little bit disapointed due to the fact we've played Juve before, thing that worries me the most is Juve's ability to defend far far better than Barca, Benfica and Spartak, so I think we will struggle to score from set peice etc

Saying that I'm keeping fingers crossed for a win at home and maybe hold out away,

This is a tough tough draw but as they say got to play the best to be the best

Brutal draw, Juventus are a fantastic team, anyone who thinks otherwise are kidding themselves in my opinion. However we have already beaten a better team so anything is possible. It will take a monumental effort to progress and that's exactly what I expect lenny to provide :celt_2:

I think it will depend on what happens in the January transfer window. If we were to lose Wanyama, Hooper, or a few others due to their outstanding performances this year then we might struggle to find people to replace them in the team to perform as well as they have in the big time matches like this one.

This current team has never been convincingly beaten away in Europe this year as far as scorelines are concerned so if we can keep this squad together, get a clean sheet at Celtic Park and maybe a couple of goals. A cheeky wee away goal as what's been happening when we've gone away then we can definitely progress.

Remember Juventus fans are underestimating us, not the Juventus manager or the players.

Hector Fabian Corini was in goals for Juve the last time we played them I'm sure.

I wonder how much longer it will take fans of teams outside Scotland to start taking us seriously at Celtic Park. How can any fan come here now and expect to win. Honestly believe the only team who should be coming here and expecting to win now is Real Madrid and that's only because they are physically superior as well as technically.

Aye,of course we can make the next round or what's the point in turning up...anything can happen over two legs, ye just need tae take a look at history for confirmation of that.

Don't think we will lose them in January, if anything it might be on pre contracts i would say.

But hopefully we dont lose them at all.

Appreciate what you're saying amico, pero no sappiamo mai che puo happenare in football!

I do agree Juve are massive favourites and it would be a shock if we got a result but who knows. I reckon Juve are potential winners of the tournament.

But only if they beat us....:icon_mrgreen:

Any video interviews with Juve people following the draw? Obviously prefer English but Spanish translated might suffice. Paper inteviews in Italian would also do (google translate).

Probably the usual * but interested to hear their player's/staff's opinion on the draw.

Barca, Madrid, Atletico, Bayern, TOP 4 TALLY SIDES, NO English Side, and maybe PSG should be the teams I don't grudge this attitude. Light years ahead of us in spending and leagues.

That's why I'd have preferred Man U. Mair brute force applicable to the rules of the game. We would've had as good a chance as any there.

So, no, I don't begrudge the feeling of certain clubs that they should win at CP.
    thats the theory.
just let them try in practice...thon,s a hale differs story....

I'm a Juve fan, I hope I'm wellcome and that you are interested like me in exchanging a few opinions with the opposing side. :)
I've read about Juve's board disregarding Celtic, but that's really not the case in our main board, where I've seen a lot of respect for your team. of course every team has arrogant fans but we're no worse than the others...
like you said, respect everyone, but fear no one! I'm feeling optimistic, but that's just the way I am, it was the same when we went against Chelsea, the last champions!
I feel I can assure you Turin is not the same as it was before, the new stadium is really safe and as long as you won't look for a fight there should be no problems.
Hope to see two great games, looking forward to it!

from la Gazzetta dello Sport, the most popular sport newspaper in Italy

NEDVED E IL CALORE SCOZZESE — Sul fronte Juventus invece prevale moderato ottimismo.

Us winning... * yes why not! I'd say we've got the 2nd hardest draw possible. man utd will win also. I have them down as winning the full thing. I can see them taking near everything this season. Give RVP a chance and he'll bury it, i hope there on a different night so i can watch both.
