Whoever we got we were gona be big underdogs. I would say that juve were the third worst team to get in that draw behind the 2 german teams. No matter who we faced we will be still defending for large parts of the game due to the fact wee lack players who are capable of keeping the ball. This juventus team is quality and have no weak links whereas barcelona had meaning this could be a struggle but if we are to qualify we need to take every chance that comes. What formation do yous reckon we will play to try and nullify them?

Hope we all prepared for 180 minutes of frustration as Juve win freekicks for fainting ever couple of minutes.

Their Midfield is better, that is about it. There's defenders in the 2001 team who played hundreds of games for Juventus and played for Italy for years aswell, back when the Serie A was a better league and Italy were a force.

The attack is nowhere near what it was.

Our problem will be keeping possession and breaking them down.

Two low scoring ties which gives us a great chance.

just out of interest do you think Juventus are actually looking to buy Gary Hooper, or is it british paper talk?

have you heard any fans talking about him and do you rate him?

I think we should go like for like 3-5-2 V 3-5-2

Samaras up with Hooper off him like

    Forster
    Ambrose Wilson Mulgrew
    Brown Kayal Wanyama Ledley Izaguirre
    Hooper
    Samaras

As if we play Samaras on the left, his usual routine of doing * for pace will be nullified against Lichtsteiner, if we play 4-4-2 we'll get the runaround in midfield and if we play 4-5-1 Pirlo will sit back and dictate the game.

To be honest it seems like British paper talk. The fans don't really think he is the world class striker that they need. No offense. :)

Fair does mate you've clearly watched them more than me, my favourite team in Seria A last season was Napoli but I don't think the standard of Italian footy is anywhere near what it used to be. They are a long way behind England, Spain and Germany now and maybe even France as well.

I think Barca, Real, Dortmund, Bayern, Shaktar and PSG would have been harder draws for us so i'm very happy.

Better option then Bendtner that's for sure, but it seems unlikely

They play Fiorentina before the first leg, and Napoli before the second leg. Forza Celtic.

Nah it's a load of paper talk. Since that rubbish Bendtner was diagnosed with a sore leg and out of action for 3 months, we get linked to every forward in the world. And to be fair I've only ever hear of this dude once. I'm sure he's good. But we won't be sticking any bid anytime soon. Marotta our transfer master will only look into co-ownership or Loan deals. Bendtner exactly my point. Shocking

No offence mate but Juve fans weren't actually accomodating to us when they threw water bottles at us in the stadium and tried to jump the partition to fight us while screaming abuse. Police did next to * all which I couldn't believe. The fans were as much a disgrace as their divers on the pitch.

Also the local police obviously didn't think it was not in the slightest bit dangerous in that they tightly escorted us to the stadium and pubs were shut before it. Like I said, this is just my story, heard much worse from other tims I know that went there.

Any tims that decide to go please be very careful lads.

Make no mistake Juve are favourites but also make no mistake we have a good chance of qualifying.

We will need a goal or 2 at home and stay strong as a unit but then we have already done that against the best club side there has ever been this very season.

I think some of the younger members are seeing 'Juventus' and a few names with 'io' at the end and * themselves. Celtic under Lennon are more than savvy enough to do a number on them.

To be fair, you're quite behind on your homework on the calciopoli which occurred in 2006. I suggest before you post that you actually know what you're talking about. With all due respect. Don't shoot first and ask questions later. Do your research into the court case which is still on going today and wonder why all the "so called" people who helped demote juventus and strip them of their titles are resigning one by one from their posts as the real truth is being unveiled. Tutt! Tutt!
