You can choose which music you like and which music you don't like and stick to it but to watch their headline performance and see how the crowd reacted and to then try and then slate them doesn't add up.

They were outstanding, the crowd was electric and the place was bouncing which is normally reserved purely for dance acts. They were epic. I don't like rap music at all but seen Eminem a few years ago, I have no problem admitting he was awesome as he had the crowd eating from the palm of his hand - same as Brandon Flowers did on Sunday night.

This for me. I didn't go for the music this year I went purely for the campsite as I knew the weather was going to be superb.

I only saw Jake Bugg, Courteeners, Mumford and Sons and Stereophonics and I'm not ashamed to admit I only really liked Jake Bugg and the Stereophonics. I still had an absolutely brilliant time as always is the case at T.

Severe mate, kicked in yesterday and has continued throughout today. I'm hoping it clears by tomorrow morning.

    How you doing?

Beady eye were absoloutely outstanding, stereophonics were great and the killers to finish the weekend was just * epic.

I dont follow this. If i dont like the music then i wont enjoy it. I cant think of many worse places i could be than in a crowd at a killers or an eminem gig.

I've had an email through from Ticketmaster about the tickets for next year.

I see they are offering payment plans this.

Since I've previously bought TITP tickets there is also a £20 discount code for buying.

    Beady Eye were absolutely woeful.

I think the Scotman summed it up pretty well.

I was feeling * yesterday and still knackered but starting to feel myself again today. Wish i was doing it all over gain this weekend!!!

I think you're missing the point of what Hammer is saying. Its ok to acknowledge how good a show the killers put on even if you don't like them.
To look at it another way, you may not like Andy Murray or Enjoy watching him play but to say he didnt do well at Wimbledon doesn't add up

I still dont really agree. Ive seen folk going mad at Chris Brown shows on tv but it doesnt make me anymore appreciative of his performance. The comparison with a sportsman winning a competition doesnt make sense.

    Again that's your personal preference.

    :50:

Going back to what you were saying about Miles Kane, I don't listen to his music and have only ever seen him at Glasto once before but it sounded excellent at T and the crowd lapped it up = it was a good show despite my own musical preference.

You're not allowed to say that mate :icon_mrgreen:

Always swore blind I would never go to T in the Park. I love going to gigs, but always felt that only some of the crowd would be interested in the bands at T and it would be full of complete arseholes.

I was talked into going to T20 and thought I would give it a go, sadly my worst fears were proved correct. I have honestly never seen so many one-eyed, ugly, inbred, ned, complete and utter * in one place. We had our 'party tent' ransacked and all our drink stole on the Friday night while we were out, by some 'semi-human' who announced he was 'mental' and just out of jail. I had my sisters with me and they were both threatened by some neddy wee * out his face on pills, absolute * banger!

As for the gigs itself, I found the atmosphere at most of the bands 'flat', although admittedly the heat didn't help. The only real atmosphere was at the dance acts 'Dizzy Rascal', 'Rudimental', 'David Guetta' etc, mainly as it was full of wee guys nutted on pills.

Sorry, if I want to see dance acts, I'll go to The Arches. I like dance music, but I want to watch bands at festivals and the atmosphere in general was poor. It's a sad day when acts like Mumford, Phonics, OCS and 2 Door Cinema Club need to gee up the crowd themselves.

Having said all that, I had a brilliant laugh at the campsite, we had a brilliant crowd of about 16 of us and I made loads of new friends, some of the best laughs I've had in years, but would I do it again ..? Doubt it.

Enjoyed Rock Ness far more the 2 years before. It's a bit more underground, which keeps out the neds, I wonder for how long though ...

I went to T 4 years ago when i was 18 and i didn't have any run ins with any of the more dodgy type that go to these festivals. In saying that there would have been what 50/60 thousand people at T at any one time so there are going to be groups of arseholes.

Thats pretty * seeing your tent got ransacked but good to see you had a good time anyway. I certainly will go back sometime in the future but ever since i have been the headline bands get progressively worse.

I felt there was a lot more stealing this years. At like 4 on the Friday morning I had some * climb into my tent asking if James was there. I said Naw, who the * is James and he said sorry and left. Wake up later on and find all the tents next to us had, had money stolen from them. This guy obviously went into tents pretending to ask if his mate was there and if no one answered he would then start stealing *. The next night me and my mate were sitting in our campsite after calvin harris waiting for others to come back and we see some girl standing dodgy next to her tent. She catches our eye and tells her bf to get the * out of the tent as someone is watching. A guy leaves with a massive bag full. Not even 5 minutes later this guy comes barging through our campsite and then keeps walking and we see him start to steal from other tents. Utter * scumbags.
