That's exactly my point, it's the same * every year with TITP. You can guarantee you'll get at least one of Snow Patrol, The Killers, Kasabian, Kings of Leon as headliners, they have no imagination.

I think someone like Rihanna is a good idea, I don't know many people who don't enjoy her music, and would not enjoy her show.

Mumford and Sons are an up and coming band, on their second album, headliners should be huge artists, with an extensive back catalogue to play through. They would be good for like the King Tuts Tent as a headliner, third last on the main stage or maybe second last on NME.

Like I said, it's just for neds and teenagers now anyway.

The headline acts announced so far are brutal, in my opinion obviously. Will wait and see what the Slam Tent line up's like.

    Rihanna?

Nah yer alright .. sound more T4 than T in The Park to me.

Really really must be THE biggest red herring on earth, the way people blindly buy tickets for this thing astounds me, despite shocking facilities, under-whelming line-ups and rip-off prices.

i'm gonna bide my time for next summer, looks like Rock Ness isn't happening, might have a crack at Benicassim.

Mumford are fantastic by the way and fully deserve a headline, they put on an incredible live show. I've seen them twice already this year though so not worth the T ticket just to see them again. The Killers are OK, but never a headline act.

I have always meant to go to TITP but the type of people at it these days just puts me off, sure you will get sound people but the majority of it just seems like every * wit from Scotlands town centres on a Saturday night congregating in one place for the weekend.

    No thanks.

Not sure why people are surprised are Rhianna headlining at TITP.

It was Beyonce 2 years ago ans Eminem 2 before that.

There was loads of cheesy pop acts last year.

Time for a campaign against this nonsense.

    How very dare you! :icon_mrgreen:

Liking a band is subjective, but I think no one can argue that they aren't 'big' enough.

    haha, can't stand them :icon_mrgreen:

Aye, i'd agree they're big enough. They might not be a band my mother would recognise but for the type that are going to these festivals they're a big name now.

    Never say that again!

The Killers are the best band out there right now... by a long way!

The new album is alright. Nothing special though and certainly not the anthems of Hot Fuss.
