He was quite correct in what he said.

 

He's still a * though.... and so is Pardew.

 

McGuire is spot on Pardew was quick enough to slate the Scottish game but jumped at the chance to send some of his youngsters to St Mirren one of them is now the 1st name on the teamsheet

 

So why's he still even now sending his youngsters up?

It was purely a cheap shot at our game cause they made a riddy with forster..

 

That ONE quote is why every Celtic fan hates him? That's embarrassing, especially since he's spot on. The SPL standard is poor, yeah, he'll not be the first or the last to state that.

 

Because he probably views our league as somewhere to send young players who aren't quite good enough for the English Premiership, doesn't he?

I mean, we have Marcus Fraser out on loan to Cowdenbeath in the Championship, don't we?

The championship is a * league with poor sides who play pish football for the most part. Would you disagree with our manager if he said that?

 

He's also had 1 decent season as a manager when Newcastle came 5th yet he thinks he should get respect like Sir Alex or Arsene Wenger the guy is a * manager Palace is about his level

 

When's he ever said that? He's not exactly my favourite person in the world but this does sound like people are being unnecessarily bitter. Most times I hear him speak he seems alright enough, he always takes responsibility for his team whenever they lose and has fought hard when everyone was against him. He, at the very least, deserves respect.

 

None of that is true, of course. He really doesn't believe he should be entitled to the same level of respect and reverence as Alex Ferguson.

He's hated by our fans simply because he had the cheek to actually voice an opinion that is shared by most of the top players and managers down south.

There's a reason why most of our top players over the past few years have * off in favour of lower to mid level English sides.

 

Mind when he called Pelligrini an old * last year on the touchline and then there was the headbutt on Myler against Hull should have been sacked for that if I headbutted someone in the street I'd get arrested

 

Why not Middlesbrough, hartlepool or wherever? No ones forcing his hand to send his up and coming kids to a * division..

It's a good division for Marcus Fraser with some good standard.of football, same for mcgeough at hibs ..
I certainly wouldn't contradicting myself slagging it, yet still happy feeding off it..

Bitter over forster, blatantly obvious and is a typical cocky * who loved he's own voice..

 

He was simply honest. It is a poor league with poor football for the most part, isn't it? Or do you disagree with him?

 

He realised he * up selling Forster cheaply so he lashed out at our league I actually want Palace to do well because Joe Ledley is there but I hope he sends them down

 

Yeah it's terrible but we'll send guys not ready for the first team here up, then when they've improved (in Scotland) we'll get them back down as first team regulars in the epl..

Didn't he say what he did before Newcastle sold Forster to us?

 

I think the issue was that Forster had played exceptionally and we felt he had disrespected the player,as well as our league and club.The fact that it came from him as well,he's just a smarmy * *.I hope Palace get relegated too.

 

Sold a young prospect for 2 million who we sold back to a better run club and team for 10 and an England international..

Not bitter much..

 

It may just be me, but Pardew saying that Forster was returning to a completely different level of regular football isn't all that off in my opinion.

He was probably asked about Forster's success in the SPL at the time, and correctly pointed out that the EPL is a different kettle of fish. much in the same way as one of our fringe players tearing it up in the Championship in Scotland, only to return to the SPFL and possible European football.

I'm sure we'd be saying "yeah, well, let's wait and see how he does now that he's coming back to a higher level of football", wouldn't we?

Again, didn't he say what he said before we actually bought Forster outright? Did he slag off Scottish football again later on?

 

He said it during his loan spell I'm sure he was asked if he would turn the deal permanent and that's when he made the comment

 

Right, so how can we possibly consider his comments as him being bitter when we hadn't actually signed him and hadn't sold him to Southampton and made a huge profit on him?

It's not possible to be bitter about something before it happens.
