I think Moyes would be a decent replacement actually. I think he'd give them more stability than Pardew.

    Customary GIRFUY Pardew.

Can only speak for myself and other Scottish/Irish Newcastle followers I know. We would welcome it, but big changes are needed. Fans want Ashley to act like an owner and show some * interest. Guy is a guttless *.

I hate Pardew, but 9th is fine for Newcastle. They're a middle of the run club who never win anything, ever.

Mike Ashley is such a *, he settles for the bare minimum with Newcastle..... they were going well this season and were like 6th and knew once they finished 10th they'd be happy enough. He decided to sell one of their best players just to recoup some money knowing that if it all fell apart they'd still finish in the top half anyways.

Moyes would be the ideal replacement in my opinion. Would give him a chance to rebuild his reputation also. I think if Pardew were to get sacked, they would only have to pay him 1 year compensation. Surely it can't be the rest of his current contract.

I was actually going to post about this as well. I had heard that his gambling debt had been written off by Mike Ashley (IIRC), and that he is repaying him, hence the length of the contract.

I know they're in a * run of form but 9th place isn't too bad for a diddy club like Newcastle. What more do they want?

Newcastle are richer than clubs like Everton and Southampton though, really they should be aiming to compete with Spurs or hover around 6th but they've disappeared down the League basically since Shearer retired.
