I normally join in with the Pardew slagging, even though Newcastle are my 2nd team... but I was fuming yesterday! Not just because of the handball for the winning goal, but that * tackle! * off Pardew! *!

The tackle was shocking, reminded me of binya's tackle on broony where he nearly snapped his leg in two. You can understand he'd be eager to make an impact as a youngster on his full debut, but it really was a horrendous tackle. Was very surprised to hear Dave whelan come out and say there was nothing wrong with it.

Exactly! The boy could of easily snapped Haidara's leg. That would of been his career over, no doubt about it. It wouldn't have been like the Larsson, Cisse or Ramsey injuries... it would of been right at the knee yuck!

I like Roberto Martinez, I'm glad he took the boy off because he was getting some amount of abuse off the away fans. Obviously it was an accident and it could have an adverse affect on him too. Martinez says McManaman will apologise, I hope it wasn't forced upon him and he is doing it on his own behalf.

And this guy's been given an 8 year contract?! :56:

Quickly turning out that last season was just a fluke.

:56: Another humping today, they are only 3 points above relagation and the two below them have a game in hand. I would love to see these * go down.

Most of their fans (not all of course) are arrogant scum and their manager is an absolute bawbag.

I quite like Newcastle tbh. Their fans are passionate and all of them absolutely love football. the geordies seem like a class lot too.

I would disagree, was in Newcastle for a stag couple of years ago and the geordie people were some of the most decent i met, and im sure most of them would be Newcastle supporters..
