Disagree, even without Europe we would still be top of the SPL and in both domestic cups. Granted we've had too many poor results but none are bad enough to warrant sack.

Went to the game last minute with my girlfriend yesterday, wish I didn't.

A real lack of determination from the players which isn't good to see. Hate singling players out, but Miku should have ran riot yesterday. La-Liga standard player against a second division side? Come on.

A real worry for me was that it took such a comedy own goal for us to even get a goal, other than a few half chances, and hitting the bar twice, we weren't a very potent attacking threat.

Need to raise it big time ahead of Wednesday.

Exactly were not chelsea and without europe wed be more focused on domestic comps. No matter how many times lenny says we arent thinkin of europe, im not sayin hes lying, but we are. Everyone has the gitters, fans players & staff, about what comp we will be in next year and who we will play. The draw(s) this friday?

Heard Lenny say something about not trusting certain players in the wall anymore as they jumped out of the way... Anyone know who they where? I think there was two culprits.

So we never lost or drew a game under MON or Tommy? And they were never, ever, ever once questioned?

lol, some short memory you have mate.

For the millionth time, if we weren't winning in Europe then we wouldn't be doing * domestically! Just look at last year if you want a recent example. Or the Seville season where the Euro run took everything out of us and we ended up winning * all!

It's a lame excuse to use for professional athletes though.
If they can't run around for 90mins at this level without getting fatigued then there's something wrong.

Well every player in the history of the world except Messi seems to suffer this, so I think you should just get used to it.
Maybe Jim McGuiness will help our fitness as well as we do need to get better stamina wise. The European teams are so much fitter than us and British teams in general.

Yes but this was a * poor performance against a part time team.
They probably have 9-5 jobs all week and training to attend.
A pro player should be able to run rings around teams like this but we never.
    It's pathetic.

Not at that level! I'm sure Messi would have no problem coming back from European football and beating part time Arbroath, our players should not either.

What? I said except Messi so why you're bringing him up I don't know. Of course he would score against Arbroath ffs :56:

I just don't know what the problem is or what else can be done because we all thought the players were tired and Lenny needed to drop/rest people, so he finally does that and rests everyone and we still play *?!?

I think we just have to get through this phase, i'm positive after xmas we will start playing better and winning at home. We've played really well away about 10 different times this season so it's not all going wrong.

Sorry, I misread your post, however you are suggesting every player in the world suffers from this when it isn't really true. The majority of teams in Europe seem to get on fine with playing in the CL and Europa, then coming back to play teams in their domestic league. Same with recent past Celtic teams.

The difference is, most teams are not so lucky to come back and play diddy SPL teams and part timers like Arbroath:56:

That is * shocking from Lassad going by that picture. It might be different in real time though

No actually many clubs suffer the dreaded "European hangover" just look across the leagues in Europe mate and see how many other big clubs are doing *. I would much rather be us than Chelsea, City, Arsenal or Real Madrid right now!

No excuses though of course we should have battered Arboarth but we didn't so onwards and upwards :50:

Exactly. An isolated picture proves absolutely nothing.

Was a point in the first half big fat number 10 (i think) for Arbroath ran past about 3 players then the guy behind stands up and belts out "* sake tackle the fat *" it echoed round the stadium about 8 times ... a you had to be there moment :56:

The supporters, or lack of, shouldn't even come into the equation against low league part timers.
