Centre of our Midfield

I think the centre of our midfielf is a problem . Hartley and Lennon are far too slow ( before any1 starts i know hes leeving ) and in the summer i think Barton and Sidwell would be fantastic . Imagine a midfield of McGeady Sidwell Barton Nakamura .We wud rip teams apart and at CP would start to demolish teams like Kilmarnock and Motherwell once again

 

Thats a very attacking midfield but It would work but I don't think we will get sidwell or barton

I would really like to see flethcer at celtic he would help the strikers score more goals.

 

I would love to see Appiah in the hoops - he's the player I hope we go all-out to get in the summer. we also need a good striker to play off JVoH, perhaps frei of Burussia?

Our defence in my opinion is sound but we need left-back cover in case of an injury to Naylor and for competition to keep him on his toes.

 

I think we should sign Gerrard, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Pirlo. Imagine a midfield of...

Naka-----Gerrard-----Pirlo-----Ronaldo

woo hooo we'd win everything.

 

I don't think we'd be able to afford Ronaldo's wages otherwise a pretty sound midfield, although I'd prefer:

About the same likelihood of happening as mine.

 

If we're to be bound by reality (*!!) I'd go for:

McGeady Hartley Graveson Naka

& thats only cos Lenny decided to go, if he'd asked for a contract WGS wouldv'e given him one & played him in every game.

 

i think we need to sign a left winger as i am not a big fan of mcgeady. graveson will hopefully stay and since lennon is leaving, he will be a more active member of the first team.

I think we should stick with Mr.Hartley hes bound to roll back the Hearts years.But on a serious note. Joey, and Appiah would be a great centre midfield

I think Sidwell will be harder to get, With Tommy G pushing for a spot and Hartley coaching the under 12's

Totally agree with that.

 

I would agree. Aidan is still learning and he needs a rival to push him. I dont see Deeks as a winger so we have no cover for that position. We could have serious problems in the wide areas if we dont sign someone. Dont see any new Maloney type wide players in the reserves.

 

Agreed, McGeady is learning and should be good in a couple years, but for now we need another.

In my opinion that is a very good midfield and its not unthinkable that we could land Appiah.

 

I would seriously consider rescuing Chris Burke. We need to hire Otto Skorzeny to burst into Ibrox on a glider and remove Burke. Chris, tomorrow you will be with my in paradise' as Jesus said to the one of the other nailed up guys.

 

you all know that i am not a lennon fan, but he does do a good job in the centre. so we need another player who can play in a similar role.
