Lennon threatens to quit...

I support Neil Lennon. I support the club. I support the team.
When the manager and the team do well i will congratulate them, cheer them, support them.
When they lose, but give everything they can, i will cheer them, say unlucky lads or good effort lads and support them.
But when i see them lose, with no heart, no fight, and generally no interest, I will say, What the * lads, we deserve better than that.
And that criticism starts with the manager, whose job it is to pick the right players, to the players whose job it is to give their best.
If that makes me fickle, then i'm fickle.
But if you cheer the team off after a * performance then you will keep getting *.

 

It's already been in all the papers which is why this very thread is open...

I think most people have realised it was simply a heat of the moment thing and both Lennon and the fan will have since regretted their actions.

There have been much bigger storms than the one in this particular green and white teacup.

 

I think the very fact that we're talking so seriously about the possibility of lenny leaving is indicative of the poor results this season. Had we have won every game this season and he made a comment like that, no one would have mentioned it. The fact we're still talking about it 2 days after it happened shows that the results have been woeful this season.

 

The story about what was said will be in the press.

 

Listen mate your story sounds a bit off to me and i will tell you why,any normal celtic fan watchin that game could not have held back from swearing , so ,your mate saying " this is a joke, total rubbish " just dont sound right

 

Normal fans don't sit with pre-school age children do they?

 

It's not that I'm accusing you of being a liar, mate; but with accusations like that I'd really need to see some proof (i don't want to speak for anyone else here, but my guess is that they'd feel the same).
If you're telling the truth then Lenny's in the wrong, but he still hasn't done anything that bad, really...nothing to justify the media * storm.

An educated guess think a positive spin will be put on it so that both parties come out it well though. I could be wrong though the press might not carry it but there is talk of it.

All you are doing in my opinion is reiterating what others have said on forums and changed the version of events a little to make it sound even worse on Lennon. ''No swearing'' noo?!

I am one of the biggest critics of Lenny for saying what he did in the interview, but people like you are just seeing this as an opportunity to show Lenny in a negative light as possible by having a wee look at one forum with a story, then changing it a little, much like a chinese whisper.

I see you're not a Celtic fan. Funny you are so eager to jump on Celtic forums and post this story, actually it isn't very funny is it? Knowing that the majority of bitter Scotland despise Lennon

 

If he was'nt welcome mate ,he would be gone ,We don't make differences on who comes and goes on here

 

He got up to abuse Lennon as we see from the photo...yet you claim he has 2 small children with him?? doesn't sound plausible to me.
