We used to be a team of record breakers, now they are all for the wrong reasons, RC, ICT, HBS, ABDN, STJ, HRTS, to name a few, bloddy mess and scandal, fans at home are being short changed.

I will still be going to the games but it gets harder and harder when he doesn't learn from his mistakes, keeps saying he will, but when, he sticks by his Favs even when they are playing * and for sam * to wear the captains arm band is a joke you need someone who can shout and motivate:31:

Are you saying that Lennon has never received praise?
I'm trying to say that as a manager, at times you're going to come under fire like Lennon did on Saturday, he has to learn to deal with it instead of throwing a strop.

Pretty sure Lenny will regret blowing his top on sat and his after match interview, he should know better and act more like a Celtic Manager.

That said I was equally disappointed to hear several fans questioning his capability and one who I heard refer to him as a 'clueless ginger *'. This is the same fan who almost climaxed when we beat Barcelona (which is fair enough). But to suggest that Lennon isn't the man for the job given the last 3 seasons and the progress we have made is baffling to me.

Fine, but everyone knows as a manager that when the team doesn't perform you have to take the criticism. Most managers accept it, it seems Lennon blows his top.

I'd say thats a huge exaggeration this is the first time Lennon has publicly blown the top in the press because of fans only once before can I remember him arguing with a fan in the crowd he clearly says in his statement that the fans have a right to voice there opinion but he took offence because he thought he boy was unjustified in what he was saying

So why put every fan all into the same category as the fan he took offence to?

Football fans are just fickle and Celtic fans, although great and loud and envied the world over, are no exception to that sadly.

People hated Mowbray for not showing any passion and just being a clueless sideline muppet. Now people are hating Lenny for being incredibly passionate and lively.

    You can't win really.

Who the * is hating Lenny, all I heard from 99.9% of fans is that he needs to make some serious changes and that our current level of league performance is unacceptable, nobody said * all about hating Lenny mate.

Incredibly passionate and lively because he makes ridiculous comments like this?

Saying he is baffled at us being * off at the current level of league performance and spitting the dummy out because he argued with a couple fans, whether or not he was threatening to leave or not is not the issue, saying comments like he did is out of order and wrong. If he is that passionate he shouldn't be making comments that will cause animosity towards our fans before the biggest game of the season so far. Just look what this has caused due to him acting like a ten year old.

If Mowbray made comments like that he would quite possibly be out the door, champions league or no champions league.

What he said was heat of the moment stuff though, just like the bhoy giving him lip at the match would have regretted it when he got home.
There are a decent amount of people who never wanted Lennon to get the job and they sit quietly and wait for any little thing to go wrong so they can pop back up with a "I told you so" rant about how he's a * manager, too young, too inexperienced, never learned from his mistakes ect.

I think NL has shown that he learns from his mistakes incredibly well and quickly, only mistakes he made on Sat was his subs. All 3 were poor.
But he's got much better at that.

I think it's also because he can come across as angry and aggressive which gives people a change of opinion

That is where you are wrong. It does not matter that some didn't want him in first place, because the vast majority are happy with him now. Do you actually think some fans are basically wanting him to fail because they didn't want him originally? :56:

We are all gutted about our performances in the league as of late, and you are making out some fans are just waiting and wanting reasons to say he's *. ''too young, too inexperienced, never learned from his mistakes ect''? Once again, not heard one fan say that.

Anyway, you are off topic here. This is about what Lenny said in the interview about us. Not these elusive Lenny haters that apparently live in hiding until moments like these you are talking about!

There is a distinct difference between being passionate and being overly aggressive/angry.

I don't think thats the line there taking mate ,hate is a very strong term to use against Lennon ,The fans have a passion the same as Lennon and he must see this as a fan himself ,like on here everybody has an opinion and Lennon must respect others .

If he was getting abuse as ie Your a * manager ,cnt gtf and so on ,thats unacceptable from any fan .

Were did he say every fan he said he took offence to what those fans said and then went on to say that if the fans tell me they want me to leave then I will do the honourable thing seriously some people need to stop getting there panties in a bunch and see that he was specifically talking about the fans he was arguing with

    YES

Just like the people who hate Sammy, when the big Greek monster/*/tragedy/donkey is playing well they sit down in their seat and STFU but as soon as he does one thing donkey-ish they are up shouting louder than the GB! And you cannot tell me this does not happen because I go to CP and witness it with my own eyes and ears!

He was getting abuse like that mate sadly that's why I was highlighting it. Most folk on this forum are sound and it's just criticism like "* subs, or * team selections gaffer" ect which is quite fine. But on other places such as facebook and at the game, in pubs and that there are numpties giving it the "time for the ginger * to gtf" patter  and it winds me up that people have such short memories.

As I said people loved the passion when it was shown against the huns but when fans get a taste of their own medicine they don't like it one bit.
