Neil Lennon needs to realise NO one is bigger than the club. You have to take the flak flAL WHEN THINGS ARE GOING bad just as u take all the plaudits when things are going well. Our manager needs to rise above this. A typical hot head is what he is. I don't think he'll ever change.

He was being asked about arguing with fans behind him during the game then said "If people want me to go, I'll go" then gave a spiel about the players trying as they always do bladda bladda bla.

A stupid comment to come away.

We haven't played well in any home SPL match this season and it's coming into December. We've scored the 2nd least amount of home goals. It's nowhere near good enough and the fans have the right to show their anger without getting it back from our manager.

What the * is wrong with it?

If we aren't happy with him, he'll leave. Sounds fine.

I don't think Lennon should be becoming embroiled in arguments with fans during game when the players are putting in yet another insipid performance against SPL opposition. He certainly shouldn't be going on national radio after the game saying what he said.

We the fans do have a right to expect the players to perform better than we have done at home where we have taken 1 point out of 9 and are the joint lowest scorers at home in the SPL. We are not on a level playing field, we are a club with resources far far greater than any of our opponents.

He has a right to have a go at the fans if we have a go at him? We're the ones paying his wages, not the other way around.

It might not be good enough but we're still top with a game in hand and Lennon's teams always come on strong in the second half of the season round about Christmas is when we have gone on our unbeaten runs IMO Lennon has earned my trust in that he will turn the team around he doesn't need petulant inpatient fans having ago at him when he has delivered everything he said he would. As for the comment he made he is right in what he's saying the fans didn't want wgs what happened he left and the same with mogga if your not liked here your as well going because the fans will never change

What I thought he was meaning was that without the support of the fans he's pretty much pointless. In a way, asking for the fans to stay positive. When I read Floyd's quote this is what I initially thought, I didn't even consider he was realistically suggesting quitting.

If he is seriously suggesting that he may quit because of fans, then of course that's extremely petulant and pretty unprofessional.

Lennon needs to get a grip. Imagine if every player had his attitude.

So he decides to say this to a * journalist interviewing him after the game instead of Celtic and its fans first.

We have given so much respect and compassion towards lenny, and for him to come out to say that is just horrible imo.

That's what is * wrong with it

    I'm not picky.
I think this is it. He's always been an emotional type of guy. He was that way when he was a player and he is that way now as a manager.

I think he's probably said something in the heat of the moment because a whole load of things has got him * - the teams performance; his tactics and substitutions; the refereeing of the game; frustration; the SPL efforts so far this season. Add all that together and he's probably extremely * off.

I remember him arguing with a couple of fans at a home game (which we actually WON and these fans were still moaning) against Dunfermline about this time last season.

I don't think he will change but hopefully he can channel that frustration into getting things turned around.

    It's not horrible.

He's meaning, if his own fans are turning on him then what's the point in him staying, which makes perfect sense.

Why manage a team thats fans are constantly getting on your back?

He should have came out and apologised to the fans instead of getting in a huff and saying if you don't want me I'll quit.

Look,Neil accepts all the praise in the world when we have done well.

he is big enough to take the criticism when things go wrong,he will be hurting big time
with today's result as well, but one thing that bugs me is all those players today
on that park are better than that.Neil is taken it personal.

he should have directed some criticism to his poor performers today.
