He brought Watt off, who was a million times better than Hooper who had his worst game in a Celtic jersey. He then brought on Brown, who is completely and utterly ineffectual when you need a goal.

Lassad was the only one he got right.

Sorry, yeah, completely forgot that Brown came on. I thought it was directed at McCourt.

Yeah, sorry, completely my misunderstanding. Still finding it hard to believe that Brown came on. Utterly, utterly bizarre.

I would have had McGeough on - but then I would have had him starting.

    Subs would have been -
    McGeough on for Commons
Miku or Lassad on for Hooper
Then if we still hadn't broken thru, Paddy on for Wanyama...

I think he was better than "ordinary" but for the rest I pretty much agree with you.

I believe that from now on in the league, when we put a * performance like that in, we should play the young boys for the next game, young lads who are DESPERATE to run out and wear that jersey and some posers get in ahead of them.

Go back to page one and someone has mentioned similiarities between Lennon & O'Neill. Please read carefully before coming out with something which is incorrect

O'Neill has done diddley-squat since leaving Celtic.

    Anyway.....enough about him.

Pretty much how I see it :50:

Our recent efforts in the league are unjustifiable and quite simply the players arent putting in a proper shift. The buck stops with Lennon as he picks the team and it is his job to get them motivated. The way we are approaching the league games this season really feels like they are taking the * out of the paying fans. And I can completely appreciate why people are angry.

I have huge respect for Lennon but he has to recognise this.

    Thanks for that.

I agree with the general consensus of the thread. I've been even going as far as suggesting we play the likes of Twardzik and co.

Better to lose with an under-strength team, than see the same ol' faces struggle to pull a performance together.

Our fans seem to hold this belief that our youth team is the best we've had in decades. It begs the question, though, if they were so good, why aren't they playing? Surely McGeouch or Chalmers could force themselves into this team?

I once again did not see any of the match, but these league results are exactly what the title of the thread says.

It is close to embarrassing and it is about time the players realised it is not just a case of turning up for league games.

It needs to be sorted A.S.A.P

Can't see the logic in bringing in youngsters right now. Don't get me wrong - rotation was blatantly obviously needed today, but nothing has suggested, for example, that McGeouch is better than Commons, Twardzik than Kayal, or Chalmers than Mulgrew/Wanyama.

Only difference is they'd be slaughtered for being picked ahead of European performers.

What we needed was rotating of our best quality guys - so Miku and Lassad should've started. McCourt and maybe then McGeouch. I guess the dilemma is (I assume) that there weren't many others fit.....

The last time we made a lot of changes we got gubbed, we didn't this time same result. He needs to work out how to played against a tight set team.
It being to look like the players are not fit enough, to play at a high tempo for 90 mins.

Only one way of finding out. In releasing Cha, Maj, Loovens, Ki, etc. Neil must have had belief in our squad depth. Let us see how it looks.

A bad run of form that last 14 games, at Celtic that simply is not allowed to happen, Champions league fatigue or not. Simply unacceptable, i was there today freezing my feet off watching that gobble of * served to me on an ice cold platter.

I knew the attendance today wasn't going to be that great, christmas time coming up, very cold weather and our home games in the SPL this season have been dreich. I just bought tickets today for the Arbroath game next weekend, lets hope i get to see some of the youngsters because they certainly can't be as lackluster as the players were today.

Not good enough, in my eyes: I am fully behind this notion that we squad rotate after European games. I feel the players are not at 100 percent and struggle against a 100 percent motivated side - EVERY side is like that when they come to our place. If we don't do this, we will lose many, many more points to SPL sides. It makes the league more interesting but seriously, * that. To think, most thought we'd have it wrapped up by Christmas... even I.

In fairness McCourt looked very sharp and did well.

The worst thing I can say about this situation is that I no longer go to Parkhead expecting a win. That has to change.

We desperately need someone who's willing to take some risks, fire off a shot now and then, run at the opposition, make an incisive pass, etc. All that seems to be missing in the league. We're just pinging passes across the park with no attacking threat, no cutting edge, until we lose possession and relying on set-pieces or punting it up the park when we're chasing a game. Commons shouldn't be anywhere near a corner-kick as I think I'm yet to see him find one of our players in the box.

Hooper needs to stop being such a * primadonna when a balls not played straight into his feet and go and chase the * thing instead of falling about moaning. Everyone needs to sharpen up their passing and their attitudes and Lenny has to drop players who are not giving everything for the full 90 minutes when they're on the park. No one's undroppable - Wanyama, Hooper, Brown, Mulgrew, Forster... anyone. We're also in desperate need of squad rotation when we have a tough run of fixtures. Guys like McGeouch, Watt, Ibrahim etc. are all good enough for domestic games and probably have a little more desire to go out and actually prove themselves to the fans and the manager... Playing players who are unfit or not pulling their weight, or simply not good enough - like McCourt, is completely nonsensical.
