[Cross Platform] Infinity Ward or Treyarch?

Who makes the better Call Of Duty games Infinity Ward or Treyarch?

For me it's Treyarch I thought Modern Warfare 2 and 3 were pish.

 

Infinty ward, for me mw2 was the best cod by a distance.

 

after Cod4, Treyarch easy.

 

second worst Call of Duty ever, only to MW3, and that from someone who had over 15 days online play on MW2.

Treyarch have come into their own since world at war, infinity ward were great with cod2 and the first modern warfare. I still enjoyed mw 2&3 but i don't think there's much difference between the developers now, especially since infinity ward went into meltdown just after mw2.

 

Agree with both of your posts. Think infinity ward lived off the rep from cod4.

Same engine same pish. That's about the size of it, unfortunately.

 

I loved call of duty 3 as well, but i'm a sucker for WW2. Eder Dam was one of the best multiplayer maps ever. Anyone who had xbox live back then will know what i'm talking about, wish they would redo it.

 

Every time infinity ward have released a new COD game in the last few years its basically the same game with new maps and a few perks. At least Treyarch add something different every year.

 

Treyarch for me Infinity Ward games just don't "feel" right to me, I plated BLOPS first and went backwards and bought MW2 and I hate it then when I went back to the nearest Treyarch game it was WAW and I liked it.

 

I would love to be able to play WAW in its peak again, when there would be at least 100k online, unhacked leaderboards and no * in the game floating around invincible just taking the fun out of it.

Now theres about 1-5k online at a time and the connection does be *, just takes the fun out of it.

 

treyarch for me waw was the 1st cod i played and although i was pish at it i still loved it i thought mw2 was ok but i mostly just played online with my dad then when he went off i'd go back to waw with my mates i loved black ops and i think black ops 2 is really good as for mw3 it was * * and i traded it in not long after i got it on release day

 

also i don't get the love fest over cod 4 i thought it was *

 

COD4 was defo my favourite out the series, with World at War a close second. Other than that, most games that came later in the series have been pretty average or poor.

 

Treyarch, Infinity Ward exists only in name now as most of the staff are in a development team under EA called Respawn Entertainment

 

totally agree. haven't enjoyed a cod game since mw1

 

COD:WAW was a flop of a game, how anyone thinks that even comes close to COD:4 obviously knows nothing about gaming. Back when I was a competitive gamer upon realease of COD:WAW everyone went back to playing COD:4 after about 6 weeks, with COD:4 even having more people online than COD:WAW even though WAW was the newly released game. I gave up on COD games after MW2, it will never be as big as COD4 and all new COD games just dont do it for me anymore.

 

It was no where near a flop of a game, it's about opinions, not who thinks they know the most about gaming, when COD3 came out, I kept playing COD2, does that mean no one should like COD3?
