We certainly looked like a scottish side tonight ,poor tonight ,think watt shoulda been on at half time ,we didnt get the ballance right tonight , it was not defensive enough , to be defensive , and not posittive enuf for attack .
Its the worst we have played yet ,hope we dont regret the first game against them ,were we tryd not to get beaten .

 

Benfica will not beat Barca at the Nou Camp. They WILL NOT beat them. All we need to do is beat Spartak and we're through.

Having watched both teams Barca should rip them a new * at home

 

We were poor but they were no great shakes either,Barcelona will sort them out and we will deal with Spartak.

 

I'm glad we're guaranteed European football after Chrismas, but we could have done so much better tonight and instead we could and possibly should be saying the guaranteed football is in the Champions League not the Europa.

 

All though i agree with Barcelona will take care of Benfica, and we'll only need a point, which we should get at home to Spartik.

To ask why people are moaning is wrong! We were * tonight, really *. We all expected a better performence than that. Hoops fans are aloud to moan about this pishy showing.

no complaints at all tonight,team selection spot on,formation spot on,tactics spot on,subs spot on,we were beat fair and square bye a decent benfica side away from home who after 5 games we are level with going into our last game,we are home to spartak they are away to barca, i would have taken that before a ball was kicked,

 

Fukn pish to go from a good solid setup vs barca to a * setup tonight and everyone of us on TC knew it was * before KO.

Maybe they would get away with strolling through games and being a hero against spl teams but champions league is a different ball game altogether, ya need to put the shift in and run yer socks aff to change games at this level.

Gary Hooper's did the square root of * all tonight. Tony Watt was on for ten minutes and almost equalised.

we really are in desperate need of flair. every win we have had in this competition has been down to a great team effort and heroic defending . but do we have an individual attacker who can win the match? i think we have one and sadly wee james is struggling with injuries.

 

Very weak referee, who fell for the diving antics of the petulant Portugese. Aye we were Pish but we kept ourselves in it until the final whistle, and we had the chance at the end where all Hooper had to do was be a bit more * instinctive, the one thing he had to do all night. Watt had got himself through on goal twice within 10 minutes or so, more than he had done the whole night. All of yous scared about Barca not beating Benfica, no chance will a defeat to the Portugese champions be acceptable and Villanova will know this. On a positive note Ambrose and Wilson have been excellent for the short time they have played together. Wasn't a fan of Wilson at the start although who was? But we will all agree he has improved ten fold.

 

another thing i would say i a big well done to kelvin wilson thought he played realy well tonight and deserves credit even in defeat

 

Hooper was extremely disappointing tonight. I can't remember one thing he did.

 

We wont romp the russians, as wanyama picked up a stupid yellow card, there was no need for it. Plus the fact the last so many games except the barca games we have played poorly, not so confident but hopefully a draws enough for us.
