I think so - hes gettin on a bit but he might have 1 good season in him/ Barca will have better players coming through and will want to replace him before he gets past it (for La Luiga anyway - he would cut it in the SPL without braking sweat).

I'd take him in a minute. Sulky * but he is quality. Might only stay for a season, but he'd score plenty for us.

I went through this before but Landon Donovan has 0.01% chance coming here. And like a 3% chance of going to any European team.

His wife doesnt want to go to europe. He doesnt seem motivated to improve or test his skills, might not play in COPA just so he can play with the galaxy which shows this. And likes being the face of US soccer, MLS and Galaxy.

 

I'd take saviola and kezman in a second - that would be one of the deadliest strikeforces in europe.

Sign Appiah and offload the deadwood, and we would have a very good team!

I think these players are realistic but we'd be in a bidding war for all of them

I agree, but the signing of MacDonald would suggest that WGS doesn't think he is ready for the step up.

 

Naismith plays in the whole for Killie and I think he would struggle playing with his back to goal, thats why I GS has not battered an eye lid at Naismith

Of the names thrown about in the main thread I was particularly hopeful about Malbranque (cant see it happening), Saviola (would be perfec t with Hesselink), Keane (no chance). Also I don't think Brown is celtic quality tbh.

naw mate i was being genuine, it could involve a swap deal for jarosik, which makes sense because spurs then will have, aaron lennon, ghaly, huddlestone, zokora, jenas and tanio fighting for midfield places, so there might be no place for malbranque as i said though i cant gaurantee the truth in the rumours, but malbranque is much more realistic than riquelme, woodnt u agree?
