the boycott would be the right thing to do, just to let the kilmarnock's know revenue comes from us also, and just to fire the shot across there bow. to keep them in check

Why boycott them just because their chairman felt he had to try and protect his club. Rightly or wrongly thats what he was trying to do. Boycotting is just stupid and childish.

letting people pick the tunes, when you have paid the piper aint my way of thinking, if we dont feed him he starves, but i wouldent be very happy if he got the cheating Rangers back in, just to save his club, that is a no no.

Thats a decision he had to make and he knew he wasnt going to win his vote but at least he stuck to his guns and didnt vote. Whether you agree with him or not why boycott?? Its just stupid and makes no sense at all. So childish, i dont agree with their chairman so im not going to their ground??

some time people have to make hard decisions, and when you don't think you are not going to win the vote, but you make them anyhow it says a lot about the guy, as he wants both sides of his bread buttered, and also wants it noted, that he is everybody's pal, when the real issue was the voting was on casting out a cheating club nothing hard in that is there.
he was to selfish to think about his own fans that where denied cups from rangers cheating, as long as it was his pocket that was getting fat.
he takes the money from the SFA, and there is no one forcing him in keeping his club going he has the choice to sell up

I wont be back at Kilmarnock again, Micheal Johnston is the main one also pushing to chance the voting system which will cost Celtic more than any other SPL club if it goes through.

Hope fans stay away, Give him a taste of losing money. :50:

This boycott pish is sheer hunnery - could be straight out the pages of Rangers Media.

Chill the beans and support the team. :50:

    Pish.

We were doing bhoycotts when the huns were dribbling down their chin, * their pants and trying to learn the words to the billy boys. Their kids weren't much better either. :icon_mrgreen:

Seriously though, it's not a threat because of something silly, this guy was willing to overlook cheating on the most disgusting scale to line his own pockets. Stuff like that shouldn't be forgotten.

I would have no complaints if people wanted to boycott this match.

it also looks like he has a few spare bob, to invest into rangers shares, this boycott
is just a one off stance, and to let others know that we will not be mastered. as we do have principles.

Should already be forgotten as far as I'm concerned.

I don't mind a principled stand over an issue which is current or ongoing, but this grudgebearing boycott-list pish is pure Hun Media.

The Killie fans were massively in favour of voting to reject the newclub application - over 95% if I remember their poll correctly - and they were incandescent that that * planned to vote in favour. It was fan pressure that made him abstain instead of supporting the application.

Boycotting them because they have an owner they think is a * is just silly imo.

Think it is absolute nonesense everybody that wants to boycott this game. As previously stated by the sane bunch on this forum, it wasnt the killie fans that wanted to vote the zombies back in, just the hun-chairman who then had to backtrack due fan pressure. My bus has already had a vote on the boycott as it was hotly discussed......90% voted no to the boycott so we will be their to BACK our team up. We all remember this time last year 3-0 down when we were needed the most. The team need our support away and we should ensure we are always their to back them whatever the situation.

    I say I wouldn't boycott the game.

But I also say that NONE of you have any place calling people who want to boycott the game "childish", "ridiculous" - or comparing their refusal to attend the game "hunnery" or anything of the like.

It really doesn't matter a flying * if the Kilmarnock supporters wanted Rangers voted out of the SPL. The money that Celtic fans spend at Rugby Park on tickets, pies, drinks, programmes etc won't be going into the pockets of the Killie fans will it? It will be going into the pockets of the club and helping to keep * like Michael Johnston in their position. Even when he knew how much the Kilmarnock fans were opposed to Rangers staying in the SPL he still would not vote against Rangers. Abstaining was just an act of cowardice and does not win him any absolution or brownie points from me. Are people really that naive that they believe Michael Johnston would still have abstained if he thought his vote would have made the difference? Would he *. If he thought his vote would keep Rangers in the SPL he'd have voted for it to happen.

If Celtic fans want to boycott this match then I will not criticise them for doing so. Personally I wouldn't but I completely understand the thinking of those that do.
