I can see a big 30 million Spurs bid to test Southampton's resolve tomorrow. Said it last night, he's the type of player Spurs need at the moment but Southampton could probably do with not selling yet another of their better players this window just as much.

Not sure why you're stereotyping in a football thread, but for what its worth, its not an unusual occurrence in this or other sports (NFL is notorious for it), nor is it solely a fault in African's. It is to do with their family background and how they're not used to money...they don't know what to do with it. They have no concept of money management. Ronaldo gave away a * island to his agent last month.

As for Victor, I'm disappointed in him strong-arming Southampton, but it didn't exactly surprise me. I think he'd be settling moving to Spurs, though. If he just waits 6 months or so, United or Arsenal will come for him, I'm sure.

I knew someone would try and make it sound as though I am being racist or stereotypical.

It's nothing of the sort and if it came across like that then sorry. I'm not the only one to have said this either, it's just something I have noticed.

It just so happens that I've noticed it alot with African players. Asamoah Gyan, Muntari, Kevin Prince Boateng to name a few. All flashing their money and flash cars about.

Probably end up with the same hair do. With that amount of money and the yes men it comes with it's no wonder half wits like him think what he says is important.

To be fair it's a valid point. It does tend to be African players who have this attitude more than others but it's completely understandable why.

Aye OK. Name a top soccer player that drives a Prius. They'd get ripped to shreds in the changing rooms. Egos plus money leads to obnoxious, stupid behaviour.

    OK.

To put it another way, I've noticed that they are more open to letting people know they have money and jumping at the first chance of an extra few grand as I said because of their (mostly) poor backgrounds.

I don't have a problem with it, as I said.

And I'm NOT trying to stereotype, as I said.

Hope so, but Fraser's still out with a torn patellar tendon, if he plays any games this season his recovery will be better than expected. Think Victor will be off before Fraser's back in goal.

Chelsea will make a £20m January bid for Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama, 24, in an effort to beat Tottenham to the signature of the former Celtic player.

I'll bet you 20 million he is worth more.

Chelsea and Spurs won't be the only 2 interested either and Southampton clearly don't want to sell = jacked up price.

I think he is worth more. When you consider Luiz went to PSG for 50 million. Money is like confetti in that league. So at least 24 million for me!

Bit of a leftfield prediction but I reckon Pogba will be sold next summer if not January and Juve will be in for him. He'll probably look to stay in England but can see it panning out like that.
