Was poor enough last night. We`ll miss him against Spartak alright. I would put Ambrose into his position with Kayal and Ledley in a 3 man midfield. Put Mulgrew into defence

Won't miss him too much, Kayal is stepping back up.

Ledley had his 1 bad game in a 100 last night so he'll be great again, no concerns whatsoever ahead of the Spartak match.

I think we have a strong enough squad that we can manage with Wanyama for one match.

    Only the one, mind.

Not hugely aware of the other 2 listed there, would think Wanyama being in the champions league may give him the edge in terms of the standard of opponents he is playing against.

Definitely, can't see him losing out to either of them.

I noticed a "new" Wanyama last week, Nosa from Real Betis. He came on is a sub in the game they played Real Madrid and won and looked a good player, really similar to Wanyama he just brushed past players as if they werent there and won every header and tackle he went for.

Well deserved nomination, I was surprised he wasn't nominated for the senior award tbh.

Great to see him get recognition with being shortlisted for young African player of the year

Wanyama ahead of Sneijder, Hulk, Kagawa, Terry, Pastore, Pepe and Hamsik?

Fair enough. He deserves recognition anyway. Well done Victor :50:

He's getting worse with the ball at his feet everytime I see him it has to be said...

Doesn't seem motivated enough to me at the minute.

Love Big Vic but there's no doubt he's going through a soft patch. Everyone does.

Means nothing. The big man will be back on form in January.

A soft patch in what respect? Of all the words in the English language to describe Wanyama and how he approaches the game of football, 'soft patch' would literally be the last appropriate term.

I don't even think he is suffering from a loss of form, I just think he is strolling through games with the same influence as always.
